CHNA 20 region

A Community Health Network Area or CHNA is a coalition of various people including representatives from local communities, non-profits, and private sectors. As a coalition, CHNA members work together in order to improve the health of communities through community-based prevention planning and health promotion with the guidance of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health Office of Healthy Communities. Currently there are 27 CHNAs in Massachusetts that involve 351 towns and cities. CHNAs are identified between 1 and 27, with each CHNA encompassing towns and cities of within a specific geographic area.

CHNA 20 consists of towns primarily within Norfolk County, Massachusetts. Hull, Hingham, Scituate and Norwell are in Plymouth County. The neighboring towns that encompass CHNA 20 are:

In cooperation with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and residents, hospitals, service agencies, schools, businesses, boards of health, and other concerned citizens, the 13 towns together have formed the Blue Hills Community Health Alliance in order to identify health needs of their local communities and determine an effective way to address these needs and improve the communities' overall health.

RCHC

The Regional Center for Healthy Communities supports the Community Health Care Coalition of Metrowest (formerly CHNA 7), CHNA 15, CHNA 17, CHNA 18, and CHNA 20 (Blue Hills Community Health Alliance). Wompatuck State Park State park in Massachusetts, United States

Wompatuck State Park is a state-owned, public recreation area of about 3,500 acres (1,400 ha) in size located primarily in the town of Hingham with portions in the neighboring towns of Cohasset, Norwell, and Scituate, Massachusetts, in the United States. In addition to a large campground and an extensive trail system, the park is noted for the free spring water that can be obtained at Mt. Blue Spring, which has been in operation since the mid-19th century. The Old Colony Library Network (OCLN) is a consortium of 28 member libraries located on the South Shore of Massachusetts in the United States. OCLN membership includes 26 town and city libraries and two academic libraries. OCLN's cooperative approach enables member libraries to provide services that they would not be able to afford separately. OCLN was founded in 1984 and is incorporated in Massachusetts as a 501(c)3 corporation. OCLN is recognized as a charitable organization by the Massachusetts Attorney General's office.

Route 228 is a rather short 9.4-mile-long (15.1 km) south–north highway in southeastern Massachusetts. Its southern terminus is at Route 3 in Rockland and its northern terminus is at George Washington Boulevard in Hull.

The Hingham Naval Ammunition Depot Annex, sometimes called the “Cohasset Annex” or "Hingham Annex" by local residents, covered sections of the towns of Hingham, Cohasset, Norwell, and Scituate Massachusetts. It served as an annex to the Hingham Naval Ammunition Depot.

The Interagency Working Group on Youth Programs is a group within the executive branch of the U.S. government, and is responsible for promoting healthy outcomes for all youth, including disconnected youth and youth who are at-risk.
