CP Music Group is a collaborative music label and management team for a roster of artists, songwriters and producers. It co-founded in 2002 as Capital Prophets Records by Lebanese-Canadian entrepreneur Wassim "SAL" Slaiby and Palestinian-Canadian songwriter Belly. [1] [2]

Massari is the self-titled debut album by Lebanese/Canadian artist Massari released on May 31, 2005, under the label CP Records. It was co-written and co-produced by both rapper Belly and Massari and other producers included on the album are DaHeala and Lynx. The album features the hit tracks "Smile for Me", "Be Easy", " "Real Love", and "Rush the Floor". Since its release the album was certified Gold by Music Canada with over 50,000 copies sold across Canada.
Ahmad Balshe, known professionally as Belly, is a Palestinian-Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. Born in Jenin, Balshe was raised in Ottawa. At twenty-one years old, he moved on to his main love hip-hop with the release of his debut mixtape, Death Before Dishonor: Vol. 1. He then released eight additional projects in a span of six years, including his debut studio album The Revolution (2007), as well as two collaborative mixtapes, The Lost Tapes and The Greatest Dream I Never Had, with Kurupt and DJ Drama, respectively.
Shawn Maurice Mims, known mononymously as Mims, stylized as MIMS, is an American rapper from New York City. He is best known for his commercial debut single "This Is Why I'm Hot", which peaked at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. Following the release of his hit single, Mims' debut album, Music Is My Savior, was released in March 2007.
The Revolution is the debut studio album by Canadian rapper, Belly which was released on June 5, 2007 in Canada on Capital Prophets Records Inc. The album became a commercial success a month after its release, when it was certified gold by the CRIA for shipping over 50,000 copies. The lead single "Pressure" won Best MuchVibe video at the 2007 MuchMusic Video Awards and also peaked at #10 on the Canadian Singles Chart. Also the album won the Rap Recording of the Year at the 2008 Juno Awards. All videos for the singles received heavy rotation on Much Music. In April 2008 for the 2008 MuchMusic Video Awards, "Ridin'" was nominated for 4 MMVAs and won 1 of them for best rap video. "I'm the Man" was also nominated for 1 MMVA making Belly the only artist that year to be nominated in 5 categories.
Sari Abboud, better known by his stage name Massari, is a Lebanese Canadian R&B pop recording artist. His music combines Middle Eastern culture with western culture. He started his musical career in 2001–2002, and has released three albums, Massari in 2005, Forever Massari in 2009 and Tune In in 2018. He has had a number of hit singles in Canada, his home country of Lebanon, the Middle East, Europe, and internationally. He is managed by SAL&CO.

The 2008 MuchMusic Video Awards were held in Toronto, Ontario at MuchMusic's headquarters on June 15, 2008 with the rain-soaked Red carpet arrivals that started at 8:00pm ET, but was slightly delayed by rainstorms that soaked the crowds and artists, the awards started at 9:00 and ended at 11:00. The show featured performances by illScarlett, Flo Rida, Girlicious, Sean Kingston, JabbaWockeeZ, Simple Plan, the first performance by New Kids on the Block in 15 years and others. The most nominated artist was Hedley with six nominations in which they won four awards. This was the first MMVA to have an afterparty, which was broadcast exclusively on MuchMusic.com, and featured Bedouin Soundclash.

He is the co-founder and current CEO of XO Records, and the co-manager of the label's primary artist, singer the Weeknd. He also manages other artists on the label, including singer Black Atlass and rappers Belly and Nav. In addition, Slaiby is the founder and CEO of Universal Arabic Music, in partnership with Universal Music Group and Republic Records.

It was released on October 25, 2011 as the fourth single off the former's mixtape Sleepless Nights 1.5 (2012). The song, the second collaboration between both artists since 2009's "Hot Girl", only charted in Bulgaria by peaking at number 32.
