The CUNYAC men's basketball tournament is the annual conference basketball championship tournament for the NCAA Division III City University of New York Athletic Conference. The tournament has been held annually since 1966. It is a single-elimination tournament and seeding is based on regular season records. [1]
The winner, declared CUNYAC conference champion, receives the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Men's Division III Basketball Championship.
Staten Island, with 15 titles, are the most successful program in tournament history.

The NCAA Division II men's basketball tournament is an annual championship tournament for colleges and universities that are members of NCAA Division II, a grouping of schools in the United States that are generally smaller than the higher-profile institutions grouped in Division I. The tournament, originally known as the NCAA College Division Basketball Championship, was established in 1957, immediately after the NCAA subdivided its member schools into the University Division and College Division. It became the Division II championship in 1974, when the NCAA split the College Division into the limited-scholarship Division II and the non-scholarship Division III, and added the "Men's" designation in 1982 when the NCAA began sponsoring a Division II women's championship.

The North East Collegiate Volleyball Association (NECVA) was a men's volleyball collegiate association founded in 1995 and disbanded in 2011. At the time of its discontinuing being an active league, it was the largest known single-sport conference in the United States. The NECVA was a leading Division III men's volleyball conference, which comprised 43 universities and colleges stretching from New Hampshire to Virginia in its final season.

It began on March 2, 2013, and concluded with the championship game on April 7, 2013, at Philips Arena in Atlanta as part of the festivities for the 75th anniversary of the NCAA Tournament. The Amherst Lord Jeffs defeated the Mary Hardin–Baylor Crusaders 87–70 in the championship game. The quarterfinal and semifinal rounds were held in Salem Civic Center in Salem, Virginia, the traditional Final Four host.
