Caddo Parish Magnet High School (CMHS) is located in Shreveport, Louisiana, United States. Caddo Magnet was founded by its first principal, Ascension Smith. The school colors are gold and red, and the mascot is a Mustang. The current principal is Mr. Robert Middleton. The assistant principals include Dr. Cedric Ellis (attendance and discipline), Schannon Lanclos, and Amanda Dolph (both curriculum and instruction). [2] [3]
Caddo Magnet won the Academic Decathlon contest for Louisiana each year from 1983 through 2011. This is the longest streak of any school in the nation, and the longest in the history of the competition. [4]
Students participating in varsity and lifetime sports have won district competitions and advanced to the state levels. During the 2007-2008 season of High School Varsity soccer, the Caddo Magnet boys won the State Championship and were ranked as high as #2 in the nation by NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches of America Association). [5] The Caddo Magnet Quiz Bowl team is a nationally-ranked program and has finished in the top fifty nationally multiple times, especially in the 2020s. Players Johnny Zheng and Andrew Minagar have both placed in the top five nationally as individual players, each finishing as high as 2nd [6] .

Louisiana State University Shreveport is a public university in Shreveport, Louisiana. It is part of the Louisiana State University System. Baton Rouge Magnet High School is a public magnet school in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, United States, founded in 1880. It is part of the East Baton Rouge Parish School System with a student body of approximately 1500 students. The current building was built in 1926, and, as Baton Rouge High School, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. The campus underwent a two-year renovation and expansion starting in 2010, resulting in the addition of two new wings to the main building. This renovation was completed and the school reopened in fall 2012. Baton Rouge High is also one of the highest-ranked schools in the state, and consistently wins state-level academic competitions. The school requires students to pass enrollment standards and exceed graduation standards. As a result, nearly all graduating students attend college.

Millbrook Magnet High School, commonly known as Millbrook High School (MHS), is a public magnet high school located in Raleigh, North Carolina. It is one of thirty-two high schools in the Wake County Public School System. In 2006, Millbrook finished the renovation of its campus which includes a new three-level building, a courtyard for students, and a larger cafeteria making MHS one of the largest and up to date facilities in the area.
