Caden Cunningham (born 7 May 2003) is a British taekwondo practitioner. He competes in the + 87kg Heavyweight division. [2]
Cunningham is from Huddersfield, Yorkshire. [3] He attended King James's School, Almondbury. He trained at Quest Taekwondo as a youngster.
Cunningham was a precocious talent winning his first overseas Taekwondo title in Germany, aged twelve years-old. He was subsequently selected to represent Europe at the Children's Taekwondo Union Europe/Asia Challenge in 2016. [4]
Cunningham become the British Cadet taekwondo champion at the national finals in Manchester in 2017, winning the male −49kg category. He was subsequently selected to represent Great Britain at the European Championships in Hungary later that year. [5]
Cunningham won the +80 kg division at the World Taekwondo Grand Prix held at the Foro Italico, Rome in June 2023. He defeated Nikita Rafalovich of Uzbekistan in the final. [6] [7] That month he was also announced in the British squad to take part in the 2023 European Games held in Kraków. [8] Cunningham won the gold medal at the Games in the Men's +87 kg division. [9]

Aaron Arthur Cook is a taekwondo athlete who has represented Great Britain, the Isle of Man, and Moldova. He has been ranked the number one in the men's −80 kg division on several occasions. He is a three-time European champion having won the −80 kg title at the European Taekwondo Championships in 2010, 2012 representing Great Britain and 2014 representing the Isle of Man, and was the world junior champion in the −78 kg division in 2008.
Jade Louise Jones is a Welsh taekwondo athlete. She is the 2012 and 2016 Olympic gold medallist in the women's 57 kg category, and the 2019 World champion, 2016, 2018 and 2021 European champion and both 2015 European Games and 2023 European Games champion at the same weight, the only two-time gold medalist at her weight in the history of those Games. In 2012, she won Britain's first taekwondo Olympic gold medal. Jones was at the time the reigning Youth Olympic champion in the girls' 55 kg category, winning gold for Great Britain in 2010.
Bianca Cook, also known as Bianca Walkden is a British taekwondo athlete and Olympian. She is a three-time World champion, twice World Grand Prix champion, four-time European champion and a double Olympic medallist.
Lutalo Muhammad is a British retired taekwondo athlete who represented Great Britain at the 2012 Summer Olympics, winning a bronze medal, and the 2016 Summer Olympics, winning a silver medal. He won the gold medal in the −87 kg class at the 2012 European Taekwondo Championships. He is the most successful male in British taekwondo history.
Panipak "Tennis" Wongpattanakit is a Thai taekwondo athlete. She is currently the top-ranked athlete in the women's 49 kg.
İrem Yaman is a twice world champion Turkish taekwondo athlete competed in the lightweight division, and an amateur kickboxer. In 2021, she retired from the taekwondo.
Mahama Cho is a taekwondo practitioner who competes in the +87 kg category. Born in the Ivory Coast, he has represented both Great Britain and France in the sport.
Marcus Ellis is a British badminton player. He was the men's doubles champion in the English National Championships. Ellis and Chris Langridge won a bronze medal in the men's doubles at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, also gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia. At the 2019 Minsk European Games, Ellis captured two gold medals; in the men's doubles with Langridge and in the mixed doubles event with Lauren Smith.

He won the gold medal at the 2021 European Taekwondo Championships and 2022 European Taekwondo Championships on the bantamweight (−63 kg) category.
Aaliyah Powell is a British taekwondo practitioner. Powell fought initially in the bantamweight competitions before moving up to lightweight. She has won World Championship bronze medals in both weight classes.
Rebecca McGowan is a British taekwondo practitioner. She is a two-time medalist in the women's +73 kg event at the World Taekwondo Championships. She is also a three-time medalist, including gold, in this event at the European Taekwondo Championships.
Emre Kutalmış Ateşli is a Turkish taekwondo athlete. He won the gold medal at the 2022 European Taekwondo Championships.
Sarah Chaâri is a taekwondo practitioner from Belgium. She won the gold medal in the women's lightweight event at the 2022 World Taekwondo Championships in Guadalajara, Mexico and became Belgium's first female World Taekwondo champion. In doing so, Chaâri also became the first-ever Taekwondo fighter to win golds at both Junior and Senior World Championships in the same year. The Belgian, who moved up to the senior division in 2022, had previously won gold in the 2022 World Taekwondo Junior Championships in Sofia in August.
