Camille Thompson (born 13 August 1971) is a Canadian basketball player. She competed in the women's tournament at the 1996 Summer Olympics. [1]
The UPEI Panthers are the men's and women's athletic teams that represent the University of Prince Edward Island in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada. The UPEI Panthers have teams playing in the Atlantic University Sport (AUS) conference of the U Sports, including men's and women's ice hockey, soccer, basketball, cross country running, curling as well as women's rugby. The women's field hockey team competes in an Atlantic league where the winner is then allowed to compete in the U Sports playoffs. UPEI also offers a club-level men's rugby team.

Joyce Slipp is a retired Canadian basketball player and head coach. As a member of the Canada women's national basketball team from 1969 to 1976, Slipp competed at the 1971 FIBA World Championship for Women, 1975 FIBA World Championship for Women and the 1976 Summer Olympics. In 1976, Slipp became the head coach of the University of New Brunswick women's basketball team, and later the women's field hockey team as well. During her tenures as head basketball coach from the 1970s to 2000s, Slipp had 263 wins and 171 losses. Slipp was named into the Canadian Olympic Hall of Fame in 1999 and Canada Basketball Hall of Fame in 2000.
