Camp Camp is an American adult animated web series created by Jordan Cwierz and Miles Luna for Rooster Teeth. It revolves around the misadventures of attendants and camp counsellors of Camp Campbell summer camp, in particular protagonist Max and counselor, David. The series premiered on June 10, 2016, as part of Rooster Teeth's Summer of Animation promotion, [3] releasing both to Rooster Teeth's website and YouTube channel, [4] [5] running for four seasons before going on an extended hiatus in 2019. Following a special episode airing in 2023, Camp Camp returned for a fifth season that premiered on March 1, 2024, and consisted of four episodes. [6]
The series follows a young boy named Max (Michael Jones and Krishna Kumar), a jaded ten year old who is forced to go to the summer "camp camp" Camp Campbell, but makes two friends, Nikki (Elizabeth Maxwell) and Neil (Yuri Lowenthal), who help him constantly torment their camp counselors David (Miles Luna) and Gwen (Lee Eddy and Kaitlin Becker). On April 1, 2016, Rooster Teeth announced Camp Camp with a trailer that aired on their website and YouTube. The series premiered on June 10, 2016, as part of Rooster Teeth's Summer of Animation promotion, [3] airing on Fridays for Rooster Teeth FIRST members and Saturdays for site members. The show was created by Jordan Cwierz and Miles Luna. The first season was extended by two episodes due to positive reception, for a total of 12 episodes in its first season. Camp Camp's composer is Benjamin Zecker, with Miles Luna writing the outlines for "The Camp Camp Theme Song Song" and "Better Than You". [2] A second season premiered on June 9, 2017, [11] with the DVD/Blu-ray combo pack of the first two seasons were released on May 22, 2018, [12] and its third season premiering on May 25. [13] [14] Its fourth season was announced on May 20, 2019, [15] and premiered on the Rooster Teeth website on June 1, 2019. [16] [17] [18] On May 11, 2022, studio and streaming network FilmRise acquired the exclusive streaming rights for Camp Camp for its digital native content division. [19] [20] On July 7, 2023, at Rooster Teeth's annual convention RTX, at which aired a special new episode of Camp Camp, [21] it was announced that Camp Camp would be returning for a fifth season that premiered on March 1, 2024. At New York Comic Con 2018, Rooster Teeth indicated potential for a Camp Camp comic book series, following a similar such adaptation of their fellow web series RWBY being published by DC Comics. [24]
Blasting News described the series like "a lot of other adult cartoons like Archer and Rick and Morty , where the events are so insane that you can't help but love them [which] deliver[s] a surprising amount of heartfelt moments", serving as "an enjoyable experience from start to finish [and providing] plenty of laughs and some charm", [25] and Bubbleblabber calling the series "a combination between South Park and Gravity Falls [and] of Rooster Teeth’s top shows, due to overarching plot lines [and] a history of throwing some emotionally investing episodes into its usually lighthearted series". The show is based on the setting of the military science fiction first-person shooter series and media franchise Halo. It is distributed through Rooster Teeth's website, as well as on DVD, Blu-ray, and formerly on the El Rey Network and Netflix. The series initially centers on two opposite teams fighting in an ostensible civil war—shown to actually be a live fire exercise for elite soldiers—in the middle of Blood Gulch, a desolate box canyon, in a parody of first-person shooter video games, military life, and science fiction films.

He is noted for his contributions in machinima, a form of film-making that uses video game technology in its production, and also works with animation and live action. Burns is also known for his work in the hosting and podcasting field.
Gavin David Free is an English actor, director, cinematographer and internet personality. He is best known for his work at Rooster Teeth—where he formerly served as creative director—featuring in many of their projects, including the Achievement Hunter gaming division. RWBY is an American anime-influenced 3D computer-animated web series created by Monty Oum for Rooster Teeth. It is set in the fictional world of Remnant, where young people train to become warriors to protect their world from monsters called Grimm. The name RWBY is derived from the four main protagonists' forenames: Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna and Yang Xiao Long, and their respective thematic colors.

Barbara Julie Dunkelman (born July 2, 1989) is a Canadian actress and internet personality. She is known for her work with the former production company Rooster Teeth, where she served as a Creative Director and was formerly the Director of Social and Community Marketing and a Program Director for RTX. She also provides the voice of Yang Xiao Long in the web series RWBY and Nerris in Camp Camp, and is a partial owner of the FCF Wild Aces Indoor Football Team.
Achievement Hunter was an American video gaming division of Rooster Teeth Productions. Founded by Geoff Ramsey and Jack Pattillo on July 6, 2008, the website was originally based on the achievement mechanic in video games but grew to become a core component of Rooster Teeth, hosting a wide variety of videos related to video games. Achievement Hunter dissolved after publishing its final video on October 1, 2023, with all members having moved elsewhere within Rooster Teeth, which itself closed in May 2024.

RWBY Chibi is an American animated comedy web series produced by Rooster Teeth Animation for Rooster Teeth. It is a spin-off of RWBY, where each episode consists of several scenes where aspects of RWBY's characters are usually exaggerated for comic effect. The series was first announced as part of Rooster Teeth's 13th Anniversary celebration on April 1, 2016 and premiered May 7. In January 2017, Rooster Teeth confirmed that the second season's premiere would be later in that year on May 13 on Rooster Teeth and May 20 on YouTube. A third season premiered on January 27, 2018, on Rooster Teeth and February 3, 2018 on YouTube. Following the conclusion of the third season, the series would go on an indefinite hiatus.
Lindsay Elise Jones is an American actress, director, gamer and host. They are known for their work with Rooster Teeth, and have provided the voices of Ruby Rose in RWBY and Kimball in Red vs. Blue from 2013–2024.
Gray G. Haddock is an American actor and film producer. He is the former head of animation at Rooster Teeth, a production studio in Austin, Texas, where he created the 2019 mecha web series Gen:Lock. He is known for voice roles such as Locus and Roman Torchwick in the Rooster Teeth productions Red vs. Blue and RWBY, respectively, as well as Sanosuke Sagara in the English dub of Rurouni Kenshin, Oreldo in Pumpkin Scissors, and Yousuke Fuuma from Wedding Peach.

Gen:Lock is an American animated science fiction television series created by Gray Haddock and produced by Rooster Teeth. It is set in a dystopian future Earth where an international coalition known as The Polity fights a hostile, autocratic invading force known as The Union. The show follows the gen:LOCK program and its members, who participate in the development and testing of an experimental technology which allows for individuals with unique mental make ups to have their minds uploaded to giant suits of mecha armor called "Holons".

Badiola stated that the show is for young adults coming of age and incorporates her own life experience. The series was intended as a four-part prelude to a full series.
