"Can't Get Enough" is the fourth and final single released from English rock band Suede's fourth studio album, Head Music (1999). The song was released on 8 November 1999 through Nude Records.
All of the songs on the album were produced by Suede with Michael Ade except "Can't Get Enough", which was produced by Steve Osborne. The song peaked at number 23 on the UK Singles Chart but was the first Suede single not to chart in Finland or Sweden since "New Generation" in 1995. [2] [3]
The UK video for the song was directed by John Hillcoat, and features a couple, played by Max Beesley and Laura Fraser, trashing their apartment. An additional Australian-only version of the video was produced and directed by drummer Simon Gilbert, and is a composite of on tour B-roll footage and a live performance.
The single was released in Sweden with "Let Go" as the lead track and containing the B-sides from the first two UK CDs.
Music Week wrote: "[T]he Steve Osbourne-produced Can't Get Enough should see similar chart success to their previous two releases. While not as catchy, Can't Get Enough is a credible and energetic outing with some excellent guitar work and Brett Anderson's distinctive vocal." [4] Select said "Suede's new-brand robo-pop reaches a mystifying conclusion here," and called the chorus' ambiguous lyrics "endearingly silly where once they were glorious." They added: "The B-sides show a welcome human touch beneath the metallic sheen, especially the lovely 'Since You Went Away'." [5]

Suede are an English rock band formed in London in 1989. The band is composed of singer Brett Anderson, guitarist Richard Oakes, bass player Mat Osman, drummer Simon Gilbert and keyboardist/rhythm guitarist Neil Codling.
Brett Lewis Anderson is an English singer-songwriter best known as the lead vocalist and primary lyricist of the band Suede. After Suede disbanded in 2003, he briefly fronted The Tears in 2004, and released four solo albums in which he also played guitar and keyboards. Anderson is known for his distinctive wide-ranging voice, poetic lyrics, energetic and charismatic stage presence and, during Suede's early days, an androgynous appearance. Suede reformed in 2010 and continue to record and tour. Along with bassist Mat Osman, Anderson is the remaining original members since the band's inception.
Suede is the debut album by English alternative rock band Suede, released in March 1993 on Nude Records. It was recorded in London at Master Rock studios late 1992 and early 1993 and was produced by Ed Buller. At the time the fastest-selling debut album in British history in almost a decade, Suede debuted at the top of the UK Albums Chart, won the 1993 Mercury Music Prize, and is often cited as one of the first Britpop records. A New Morning is the fifth studio album by English alternative rock band Suede, released in September 2002. By the time the album was released, public interest in the band had waned, as shown by the poor charting of both the album and singles. Despite this, however, the album received moderate praise from critics. It is the only Suede album not to be released in the US. It was the last studio album released by the band before their seven-year hiatus and reunion in 2010. Before recording took place, keyboardist and guitarist Neil Codling left the band due to ill health, and was replaced by former Strangelove member, Alex Lee.
Head Music is the fourth album by English alternative rock band Suede, released by Nude Records in May 1999. Produced and mixed by Steve Osborne, Head Music features a more electronic sound, which was a new approach for the band. The recording of Head Music was plagued with difficulties such as singer Brett Anderson's addiction to crack, and keyboardist Neil Codling's struggle with chronic fatigue syndrome. The album still went to number 1 on the UK Albums Chart, however, making it the band's third and final chart-topping album. Overall, the album received generally favourable reviews from critics.
Sci-Fi Lullabies is a two-disc compilation album by English alternative rock band Suede released by Nude Records on 6 October 1997, consisting of B-sides from the singles that were released from the group's first three albums. It reached no. 9 on the UK Albums Chart, and received universal acclaim on release. In subsequent years, the record has been hailed as one of the finest B-side compilations in popular music.
"Metal Mickey" is the second single by the English rock band Suede, released on 14 September 1992 on Nude Records. It was included the following year on the band's debut album Suede. It charted at No. 17 on the UK Singles Chart, a vast improvement on the previous single "The Drowners", which fell short of the top 40. The song also reached the top 40 in Australia and Sweden.
"Animal Nitrate" is the third single by English rock band Suede, released through Nude Records on 22 February 1993 and later included on the band's debut album Suede. It charted at No. 7 on the UK Singles Chart, making it the highest-charting single from the album. The song is the band's highest-charting single in Ireland and New Zealand, peaking at No. 11 in both countries. It also debuted and peaked at No. 21 in Sweden but stayed on the chart for only two weeks.
"Stay Together" is a non-album single by Suede, released on 14 February 1994 on Nude Records. It is the last single released while guitarist Bernard Butler was in the band, though subsequent singles from Dog Man Star feature his music. It is tied with "Trash" as the highest-charting single the band has released, reaching No. 3 on the UK Singles Chart. The song also charted in Ireland, peaking at No. 18. The single was released in the US on 26 April as a six-song EP, and was the first release by the band as the London Suede. The State-side name change was the result of a successful lawsuit brought by Suzanne deBronkart, who had already been performing and recording in the US under the name Suede.
"The Wild Ones" is the second single from the album Dog Man Star by Suede, released on 14 November 1994 on Nude Records. The song peaked at #18 in the UK.
"Trash" is the first single from the album Coming Up by Suede, released on 29 July 1996 via Nude Records. It is the first single on which all the songs were written without guitarist Bernard Butler, since Richard Oakes had taken his place. The single is tied with "Stay Together" as the band's highest charting at number three; however, it outsold the earlier single, thus making it their biggest-selling single. Outside the UK, the song topped the Finnish Singles Chart in late August and reached the top five in Denmark, Iceland, and Sweden.
"Lazy" is the fourth single from the album Coming Up by Suede, released on April 7, 1997, on Nude Records. It was also the fourth single from the album to reach the top ten, peaking at number nine.
"Filmstar" is the fifth and final single from the album Coming Up by Suede, released on August 11, 1997, on Nude Records. The single hit the top 10, peaking at number nine, thus making all five singles released from the album top ten hits. The live songs on CD2 are performed with Neil Tennant. "Filmstar" was produced by Ed Buller, while "Graffiti Women" and "Duchess" were produced by Ian Caple.
"Electricity" is the first single from the album Head Music by Suede, released on 12 April 1999 via Nude Records. It reached number five on the UK Singles Chart and in Finland and Norway. It was also a top-twenty hit in Iceland, Ireland, Spain and Sweden and reached number 39 in New Zealand.
"She's in Fashion" is the second single from the album Head Music (1999) by Suede. It was released on 21 June 1999 and peaked at number 13 on the UK Singles Chart, number 10 in Finland, and number 59 in Sweden.
"Everything Will Flow" is the third single from English rock band Suede's fourth studio album, Head Music (1999), released on 6 September 1999 through Nude Records. It was the first single of the band not to reach the top 20 since 1995's "New Generation". It was the second and final song by the group to chart in the US, peaking at number 28 on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in 1999. Elsewhere, the song reached number 20 in Finland and number 55 in Sweden.
"Positivity" is the first single from the album A New Morning by Suede, released on September 16, 2002 on Columbia Records. Although it received mixed reviews from critics and fans, the song became one of the band's final hit singles, reaching number one in Denmark, number 12 in Spain, number 15 in Finland and Norway, and number 16 in their native United Kingdom.
Neil John Codling is an English musician and songwriter, best known as the keyboardist, rhythm guitarist, backing vocalist and co-songwriter for the alternative rock band Suede.

Suede were formed in 1989 by singer Brett Anderson, bassist Mat Osman and guitarist Justine Frischmann. Guitarist Bernard Butler later joined after the group responded to an ad in the Melody Maker. The group played as a four-piece with a drum machine until drummer Simon Gilbert joined. Frischmann left before the group released any material.
