History

Carbyne was founded by Amir Elichai in 2014, the inspiration for which came from his personal experience involving 911. [4] [5] [6]

Carbyne was previously known as Reporty [7] and has raised $72 million funding. [8] [9] [10] [11] [12] [13] [14]

Ehud Barak, former Prime Minister of Israel, served as chairman of Carbyne. [8] [9]

In 2015, the company offered services through an app "C-Now". [15] [11] [16] [17] [18] [19] [20]

In 2018, the company released the product named "C-Lite" that connects directly to 911 services which lets Public Safety Answering Points (PSAP) [21] [22] to send links at the time of emergency. [8] [10] [23]

The company's cloud-based platforms are designed to create live collaboration and interoperability to facilitate live call management between callers, emergency telecommunicators, health agencies, nurses and hospitals. [24]
