Carlos Miguel Tavares de Oliveira (born 9 March 1993), known as Carlitos, is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a right winger.

Club career

Doxa

Born in Almada, Setúbal District, Carlitos started his senior career in 2012 with amateurs S.U. Sintrense. In the following year, aged 20, he signed for Doxa Katokopias FC of the Cypriot First Division.

Carlitos made his debut as a professional on 1 September 2013, coming in as a second-half substitute in a 2–0 home win against Nea Salamis Famagusta FC. [2] On 26 January of the following year he scored his first goal for the club, in a 2–1 loss at Apollon Limassol FC. [3]

In summer 2014, Carlitos joined fellow Cypriot top-flight team AEL Limassol on a season-long loan deal. He subsequently returned to Doxa. [4]

APOEL and Anorthosis

On 9 June 2016, Carlitos moved to reigning Cypriot champions APOEL FC on a three-year contract, [5] but two months later he was sold to Anorthosis Famagusta FC for a reported fee of €100,000. [6] [7] [8]

Later career

In the following years, Carlitos represented Wisła Płock (Polish Ekstraklasa), FC Kaisar (Kazakhstan Premier League), Doxa Katokopias FC (Cypriot top tier) and FC Pyunik (Armenian Premier League). [9] [10] [11]

The 2017–18 Cypriot Cup was the 76th edition of the Cypriot Cup. A total of 22 clubs were accepted to enter the competition. It began on 29 November 2019 with the first round and concluded on 16 May 2018 with the final held at GSP Stadium. The winner of the Cup was AEK Larnaca for second time and qualified for the 2018–19 Europa League second qualifying round.

The 2018–19 Cypriot Cup was the 77th edition of the Cypriot Cup. A total of 24 clubs were accepted to enter the competition. It began on 5 December 2018 with the first round and concluded on 22 May 2019 with the final held at GSP Stadium. The 2018–19 season was Pafos's 5th year in existence, and second season in the Cypriot First Division.

The 2015–16 season was Pafos's first season in the Cypriot First Division and second season in existence. They finished the League season in 14th position, and where relegated back to the Cypriot Second Division. Whilst in the Cypriot Cup they reached the Quarterfinals where they were defeated by Omonia, 8–0 on aggregate.

The 2017–18 season was Pafos's 4th year in existence, and first season back in the Cypriot First Division following their relegation at the end of the 2015–16 season. Pafos finished the season in 10th position and reached the Semifinals of the Cypriot Cup where they were knocked out by Apollon Limassol.

The 2023–24 Cypriot First Division is the 85th season of the Cypriot top-level football league. Aris Limassol are the defending champions, having won their first title in the 2022–23 season.

The 2023–24 Anorthosis Famagusta season is the 78th season in the top flight. In addition to the domestic league, Anorthosis will participate in this season's editions of the Cypriot Cup. The season covers the period from 1 July 2023 until 31 May 2024.

The 2023–24 season was Pafos's 10th year in existence, and seventh season in the Cypriot First Division. They finished the season in 5th place in the league and won the Cypriot Cup for the first time, qualifying for the UEFA Europa League for the first time too.

The 2017–18 season was APOEL's 78th season in the Cypriot First Division and 90th year in existence as a football club. In addition to the domestic league, APOEL participated in this season's editions of the Cypriot Cup, the Cypriot Super Cup and UEFA Champions League.
