Carmen Justice Hadley (born Carmen B Justice,[ citation needed ] July 15, 1991 [2] [ failed verification ]) known professionally as Carmen Justice is an Alternative Pop recording artist and singer songwriter. She was first known as a member of Christian contemporary, power pop/pop rock band 1 Girl Nation [3] (also known as 1GN [4] ) before leaving the group and launching a solo career in 2017. [5]

Musical career

In 2012, Justice joined 1 Girl Nation along with other band members Lauryn Taylor Bach, Lindsey Adamec, Kayli Robinson, and Kelsey Grimm. In June 2013, the band was signed to Reunion Records, and released their self-titled debut album on August 20, 2013. The album charted at No. 11 and No. 9 on the Top Christian Albums and the Top Heatseekers Albums charts respectively, for the Billboard charting week of September 7, 2013. [6] On December 14, 2013, Billboard charts the album was the No. 2 Heatseekers Albums. [6] 1 Girl Nation was nominated for a Dove Award at the 47th Annual GMA Dove Awards for Best New Artist in 2014. [7] In 2015, the band changed their name to 1GN and released their follow-up album, Unite, on April 15, 2016. [8] In January 2017, it was announced that the band had split. [5]

In 2017, it was announced that Justice would release her first solo single "Flaming Arrows" on January 20, 2017. [9] Justice wrote and recorded the song "Flaming Arrows" days after 1 Girl Nation split. [10] The song was written with Keithon Stribling and Jordan Stribling and was mixed/mastered by Jake Hartsfield. [11] On January 6, 2017, CCM Magazine exclusively announced Justice was leaving 1 Girl Nation and pursuing a solo career. [12] In an interview with New Release Today, Justice said that she is planning to release her debut EP in the fall of 2017. [13] On February 24, 2017, Justice released a remix of "Flaming Arrows" produced by David Thulin. [14]

On June 2, 2017, Carmen released her second single titled "Red & Yellow Black & White" (featuring GabeReal). [15] The song featured a guest performance by GabeReal from TobyMac's Diverse City Band and was produced by David Thulin. [16]

Personal life

Justice and her husband, Matt Hadley, were married on August 14, 2015, and live in Nashville, Tennessee. [17] [18]

BarlowGirl was an American Christian rock and CCM all-female band from Elgin, Illinois. The band was composed of sisters Alyssa, Lauren and Rebecca Barlow. The band is best known for its radio singles "Never Alone" in 2004 and "I Need You to Love Me" in 2006, breaking records for the longest-charting No. 1 song on the Radio and Records Christian Hit Radio (CHR) chart and obtaining millions of views for their music videos on YouTube. The band also saw continued success with their Home for Christmas album. The band exceeded sales of one million compact discs by the end of 2008 and finished its career with over 1 million digital song downloads and 1.3 million compact disc sales.

Gabe Saporta Uruguayan-American musician and entrepreneur

Gabriel Eduardo Saporta is an Uruguayan-American musician and entrepreneur. Through late 2015, he was a singer and the primary creative force behind the electronic pop group Cobra Starship. On November 10, 2015, after nearly ten years and two Billboard Hot 100 top 10 hits, Saporta announced that the band would stop its work, and that he would be focusing on helping other musicians through his new venture, The Artist Group. Prior to Cobra Starship, Saporta had been the lead singer, bassist, and lyricist for the punk band Midtown.

Francesca Battistelli is an American Christian singer and songwriter. She was originally an independent artist and had released an independent album, Just a Breath, in 2004. Her first studio album on Fervent Records, My Paper Heart, was released on July 22, 2008. Christian electronic dance music, also known as CEDM, Christian EDM, Christian Dance Music, CDM, or Christian electronic music is a genre of electronic dance music and Christian music. Its musical styles closely mirrors non-Christian EDM; however, the CEDM culture's lack of drug use and emphasis of positive lyrics distinguish it from non-religious counterparts. Many different Groups such as Christian Electro Spot, Found Beats, God's DJs, and CEDM Radio have been created to support and foster the CEDM genre. Many live concerts and events have been held in Christian churches in addition to traditional venues such as Lumination, Creation Festival and LifeLight Music Festival. CEDM has also been incorporated into some Christian worship routines.

1GN, formerly known as 1 Girl Nation, was a contemporary Christian, power pop and pop rock band from Nashville, Tennessee, United States. They are on the Reunion Records label, affiliated with Provident Label Group and Sony Music Entertainment, and released their first album entitled 1 Girl Nation on August 20, 2013. The album has had chart successes.
