Carney Creek or Carneys Branch is a stream in eastern Barry County in the Ozarks of southwest Missouri. [1]

The stream headwaters are at 36°49′42″N93°36′52″W / 36.82833°N 93.61444°W / 36.82833; -93.61444 and its confluence with Flat Creek is at 36°45′48″N93°36′13″W / 36.76333°N 93.60361°W / 36.76333; -93.60361 . [1] The stream source is just southwest of Wheelerville on Missouri Route 248. It flows to the south-southeast and receives waters from Gum and Carney springs before joining Flat Creek. The stream's flow is intermittent and the confluence is about five and a half miles from its source. [2]

Carney Creek was named after Thomas Carney, a pioneer settler. [3]

Trent Creek is a stream in Barry and McDonald counties the Ozarks of southwest Missouri.

Turnback Creek is a stream in the Ozarks of southwest Missouri. The stream headwaters are in western Christian County just southwest of Billings. The stream flows north-northwest after passing under U.S. Route 60 and on through the extreme southwest corner of Greene County and into Lawrence County. In Lawrence County the stream flows northwest passing under Interstate 44 southwest of Halltown and into southeast Dade County. In Dade County the stream flows generally north and enters the Sac River arm of Stockton Lake at U.S. Route 160 east of Greenfield.

Medicine Creek is a stream in Grundy, Livingston, Putnam, and Sullivan counties of the U.S. state of Missouri. It is a tributary to the Grand River.

Center Creek is a stream in southwest Missouri.

The stream flows generally west and enters the lake just south of Beaver Creek Park about four miles from its source.

Swan Creek is a stream in the Ozarks of southern Missouri. It is a tributary of the White River downstream from the Lake Taneycomo dam.
