They currently compete in the SGB Premiership, racing at The National Speedway Stadium, with home matches usually taking place on Monday evenings. It competes in competitions run by the governing body Football Federation Tasmania, including the NPL Tasmania. The club uses the colours of Juventus F.C. and have historical ties and links to the club. They merged with Clarence United FC after the 2019 season to form Clarence Zebras FC.
Clarence United Football Club was an amateur soccer club based in the City of Clarence, Tasmania, which competed in the NPL Tasmania, the second tier of the sport in the country below the A-League. Founded in 1978 the club spent much of its early history competing in lower divisions, where it has been reasonably successful, winning several lower division titles and cups. Despite this, Clarence United had struggled for many years to attain success at the highest level within the state, although Clarence United was finally crowned state champions for the first time in 2009. At the conclusion of the 2019 season, they merged with Hobart Zebras FC to form Clarence Zebras FC.

In their 31-year history Sandy Bay established itself as a powerhouse club of Tasmanian football, winning a remarkable seven state championships, and seven southern premierships which still sees them placed fourth on the winners lists of both competitions despite folding over 50 years ago.
Hobart Rangers Soccer Club was an Australian soccer club which was based in Hobart, Tasmania. It was established in 1958 out of the old Hydro SC, that played in Tasmanian Division 2 South from 1954 until 1957. The Hydro team was re-branded for the 1958 season, but only lasted for nine seasons due to lack of support. During their short history, the Rangers manage to win both the State Championship and Southern Premiership in 1962.
Dolphin Football Club was an Irish association football club, originally based in the Dublin suburb of Dolphin's Barn. They played in the League of Ireland between 1930–31 and 1936–37. In 1934–35 they were League of Ireland champions. After St James's Gate, Shamrock Rovers, Bohemians, Shelbourne and Dundalk, Dolphin became the sixth club to win the League of Ireland title. In 1931–32 and 1932–33 Dolphin played in two successive FAI Cup finals, losing both games to Shamrock Rovers. Between 1930 and 1931 and 1932–33 Dolphin also played in three successive Leinster Senior Cup finals, winning the cup in 1931–32.
Stix, Baer and Fuller F.C. was a U.S. soccer club which played in the St. Louis Soccer League from 1931 to 1934. The team was known as Hellrungs from 1929 to 1931, St. Louis Central Breweries F.C. from 1934 to 1935 and St. Louis Shamrocks from 1935 to 1938. During its short existence, it won two National Challenge Cup titles and two league championships as Stix, Baer and Fuller and one National Cup and league title as St. Louis Central Breweries.
Werner "Scotty" Nilsen is a former Norwegian American soccer forward. He is one of the highest scoring players in U.S. soccer history, scoring 131 goals in 239 games with the Boston Soccer Club. He won five consecutive National Challenge Cups during his career, and four doubles. He also earned two caps with the United States in 1934, one at the 1934 FIFA World Cup. He is a member of the National Soccer Hall of Fame.
Jimmy Roe was a U.S. soccer inside left who spent his entire career in the St. Louis leagues. He was called into the national team in 1937, but suffered a career ending knee injury before his first game with the team. He was inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 1997.
