Glenorchy Knights Football Club is an Australian football club based in Glenorchy, Tasmania, 7km north of Hobart's CBD. Founded in 1957, the club competes in Australia's second-tier National Premier League, with matches played at KGV Park, a 2,000 capacity stadium.
The club was founded in 1957 as Glenorchy Croatia, and experienced almost immediate success, winning the state title for the first time in 1963. They experienced their best success in the 1970s, winning three titles, before having a league lull in the 1980s. However, re-branded as the Glenorchy Knights, they have slowly established a new sense of self, culminating in winning the State Championship for the first time in 13 years in 2005, and narrowly missing out on back to back state titles by losing a penalty shoot-out to Somerset in 2006. In 2010, Glenorchy Knights finished in 3rd Position in the Forestry Tasmania Southern Premier League. [1]
In 2012 Glenorchy Knights were accepted with a license to participate in a new Tasmanian statewide league NPL Tasmania between 2012 and 2015.
In 2015 Glenorchy Knights were unsuccessful in their application to remain within the NPL Tasmania and returned to lower Southern Championship in 2016. [2] The 2015 season was particularly poor for the Knights' first grade side, who won just two games all season and finished with a -133 goal difference.
Glenorchy Knights responded by winning three consecutive Southern Championships in 2016, 2017 and 2018, losing just three time in 49 games. In 2021, they won the NPL title, downing powerhouse club, Devonport, in the final round of the season.

Sydney United 58 Football Club is a semi-professional soccer club and current NSW NPL Champions based in Edensor Park, Sydney, New South Wales Australia. The club was formed as Sydney Croatia in 1958, by Croatian Australians in the area, but it was renamed in 1993 as Sydney United after having the name Sydney CSC for a season.
Football Tasmania (FT) is the governing body for soccer in the Australian state of Tasmania. Western Knights Soccer Club is an Australian soccer club currently playing in the Football West State League Division 1 in Perth, Western Australia. Hobart Zebras Football Club was an association football club based in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. The club is one of the biggest and most successful clubs in Tasmania. It competes in competitions run by the governing body Football Federation Tasmania, including the NPL Tasmania. The club uses the colours of Juventus F.C. and have historical ties and links to the club. They merged with Clarence United FC after the 2019 season to form Clarence Zebras FC.
Maccabi Hakoah Sydney City East FC, commonly known as Maccabi Hakoah, is an Australian semi-professional soccer club based in Sydney, New South Wales. The club was formed in 1939 as Sydney Hakoah by members of Sydney's Jewish community. They played between 1977 and 1986 in the National Soccer League as Eastern Suburbs (1977–1979) and Sydney City (1979–1987). One of the most successful sides in New South Wales and interstate competitions in the 1960s and early 1970s coached by the now retired Bob Szatmari, Hakoah were also one of the main instigators for the establishment of a national league. The club currently competes in the National Premier Leagues NSW, with games played from Hensley Athletic Field.
Clarence United Football Club was an amateur soccer club based in the City of Clarence, Tasmania, which competed in the NPL Tasmania, the second tier of the sport in the country below the A-League. Founded in 1978 the club spent much of its early history competing in lower divisions, where it has been reasonably successful, winning several lower division titles and cups. Despite this, Clarence United had struggled for many years to attain success at the highest level within the state, although Clarence United was finally crowned state champions for the first time in 2009. At the conclusion of the 2019 season, they merged with Hobart Zebras FC to form Clarence Zebras FC.
New Town Eagles Soccer Club is a football (soccer) club which represents New Town in the Tasmanian Southern Championship. The club also fields teams in all junior divisions. New Town Eagles play their home games at Clare Street, in New Town.

Prospect Knights FC, was an Australian soccer club from Prospect, Tasmania formed from the merger of Western Suburbs and Launceston Croatia Soccer Clubs the club competed in the Northern Premier League before dissolving in 2015. The club fielded a women's team, Under 18s as well as teams in all junior divisions. Prospect Knights FC played all their home games at the Prospect Park Sports Complex, off Harley Parade in Prospect, a western suburb of Launceston, Tasmania, Australia. The club has also competed at the annual Australian & New Zealand Croatian Soccer Tournament on several occasions, including the 34th tournament in Geelong in 2008 and the 35th held in Adelaide in 2009.

Cascades Soccer club was a short lived soccer team which represented the workers of the Cascade Brewery in the Southern Premier league from 1931 until 1936. In the years before World War II it was common for companies to enter teams in local soccer competitions as a morale building exercise, and the Cascades Brewery did likewise. In their short life-span of 6 years, Cascade's team was incredibly successful, winning 4 Southern Premierships, as well as 4 state championships, and 4 cup wins.
