The Tasmania men's cricket team, nicknamed the Tigers, represents the Australian state of Tasmania in cricket. They compete annually in the Australian domestic senior men's cricket season, which consists of the first-class Sheffield Shield and the limited overs Matador BBQs One-Day Cup.
The T20 Blast, currently named the Vitality Blast for sponsorship reasons, is a professional Twenty20 cricket competition for English and Welsh first-class counties. The competition was established by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in 2003. It is the top-level Twenty20 competition in England and Wales.
Michael James Di Venuto is an Australian cricket coach and former first-class cricketer who represented both Australia and Italy. The bulk of his first-class cricket career was spent playing for Tasmanian Tigers. After retiring from representative cricket in Australia, he continued playing for Durham County Cricket Club till July 2012, when he announced retirement from County Cricket. He has also previously played cricket in England for Derbyshire and Sussex. A left hand opening batsman, his form for Tasmania throughout the mid-1990s earned him a call up for the Australian national cricket team in the One Day International arena, although after nine games he was dropped. Like some of his contemporary Tasmanian teammates such as Jamie Cox, Dene Hills, and Shaun Young, Di Venuto can be considered unlucky to have not had a more successful international career, as he was playing at a time when the Australian national cricket team was highly dominant, and difficult to earn selection for. After retiring from Durham, he was appointed Australia's full-time batting coach by head coach Mickey Arthur, and was then head coach of Surrey from 2016 until 2020.
NSW Premier Cricket, formerly known as Sydney Grade Cricket. is a cricket competition played in Sydney, Australia. The competition began in 1893 when a number of clubs that had been playing for many years on an ad hoc basis voted to create a formal competition structure.

South Hobart/Sandy Bay Cricket Club (SHSBCC), also known as "The Sharks", is a Grade level cricket club representing both South Hobart and Sandy Bay in Tasmania's Grade Cricket Competition. The club was formed by a merger of two previous clubs from each of these suburbs.

Riverside Cricket Club (RCC) is a cricket team representing Riverside, a suburb of Launceston in the Northern Tasmanian Cricket Association grade cricket competition, in the Australian state of Tasmania. The club is based in the West Tamar Council's Windsor Park precinct and has access to three cricket grounds, two of these are used as junior grounds and are concrete with a synthetic covering and the third is a turf wicket that is used by the senior club and at times representative teams.
Western Australian Premier Cricket is a club cricket cricket competition played at a level below the first-class Western Warriors and other state teams. The competition is administered by the Western Australian Cricket Association. It is the premier club cricket competition in Western Australia and players vying for Western Warriors and national team selection are typically chosen from Premier Cricket competition clubs. Retiring international and first-class players wishing to continue playing will generally return to their original Premier Cricket club. There are currently 16 teams in the competition.

The Hurricanes wear a purple cricket uniform.
The Gold Coast District Cricket Club is a cricket club on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia who play in the Queensland Premier Cricket competition. The club was founded in 1990. It has won the Queensland Premier Cricket First Grade Premiership twice, in the 2002/03 and 2008/09 seasons, the competitions One-Day Premiership twice, in 1992/93 and 2009/10, and the Twenty20 Premiership twice in 2009/10 and 2020/21. They are reigning Queensland Premier Cricket T20 Champions.

It began on 1 April with a round of university matches, continued until the conclusion of a round of County Championship matches on 23 September. Three major domestic competitions were contested: the 2014 County Championship, the 2014 Royal London One-Day Cup and the 2014 NatWest t20 Blast. The Royal London One-Day Cup and the NatWest t20 Blast were newly created competitions as from the 2014 season, replacing the Clydesdale Bank 40 and the Friends Life t20.

At domestic level, she plays for the English teams Northern Diamonds, Birmingham Phoenix and North East Warriors, and has previously played for Essex and Northern Superchargers. She has also taken the field for other domestic teams in the Netherlands and Australia.
Lawrence Neil-Smith is an Australian cricketer. He is a right arm fast-medium bowler and batter. In May 2018, he signed a two-year rookie contract with Tasmania ahead of the 2018–19 season. He made his first-class debut on 10 October 2019, for Tasmania in the 2019–20 Sheffield Shield season and was upgraded to a two-year full contract. In September 2018, he was named in the Hobart Hurricanes' squad for the 2018 Abu Dhabi T20 Trophy. He made his Twenty20 debut for the Hobart Hurricanes in the 2018 Abu Dhabi T20 Trophy on 5 October 2018.
