The Cathedral of St Vincent de Paul is the seat of the Syro-Malankara Eparchy of USA and Canada. It is located in Elmont, New York, United States.
Syro-Malankara Catholics were among the Malayalees people who immigrated to North America from India in the 1960s and 1970s. Many of these people settled in New York City. They organized prayer meetings and celebrated the Syro-Malankara Catholic liturgy when Malankarite priests visited the United States. [2] Chorbishop John Melamparampil was appointed as the first Coordinator for the Malankarites in the United States. He obtained a place for worship in the basement of Guardian Angel School at 21st Street and 10th Avenue in Manhattan. St John Chrysostom Malankara Catholic Church was established as a mission on Long Island on November 7, 1993. Three different Roman Catholic churches were used as places of worship. On November 13, 2011 St John Chrysostom was established as a parish at St Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church in Elmont. [2]
St Vincent de Paul Cathedral Parish was established by Baselios Cleemis, Major Archbishop of the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church, and Thomas Mar Eusebius of the Syro-Malankara Catholic Exarchate on September 8, 2013. [3] To create the new parish, the parishes of St John Chrysostom on Long Island and the parish of St Basil in Queens were merged. On January 4, 2016, the exarchate was promoted to eparchial status and renamed the Syro-Malankara Catholic Eparchy of St. Mary, Queen of Peace, of the United States of America and Canada.
On August 5, 2017, Philipos Stephanos was appointed as the second Bishop of the Eparchy of St. Mary, Queen of Peace of the Syro-Malankara Faithful in USA and Canada and was installed on October 28, 2017.

The St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Catholic Eparchy (Diocese) of Chicago is an Eastern Catholic eparchy (diocese) for Syro-Malabar Catholics in the United States. The eparchy (diocese) was erected by Pope John Paul II on 13 March 2001. It is one of the four eparchies (dioceses) of the Syro-Malabar Church outside India. It has jurisdiction over Syro-Malabar Catholics in the entire USA, including Knanaya Catholics in the US. The seat of the bishop is Mar Thoma Sleeha Cathedral based in Chicago, Illinois. The first and current bishop of the eparchy (diocese) is Mar Jacob Angadiath, serving since 1 July 2001. Mar Joy Alappat was installed as an auxiliary bishop since 27 September 2014.

He retired from Pathanamthitta on 7 June 2019 and was succeeded by Samuel Irenios Kattukallil. He is currently Bishop Emeritus.

The diocese came into existence with the consent of Pope Benedict XVI, on 25 January 2010. Yoohanon Mar Chrysostom became the first bishop of this eparchy. St. Peter’s Malankara Catholic Church, Pathanamthitta, serves as the Cathedral Church for this eparchy.

St. Ann's Cathedral was an Armenian Catholic cathedral and national shrine located in New York, New York, United States. It was the seat for the Eparchy of Our Lady of Nareg. The church had two locations in the city: the former St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church on East 12th Street in the Lower East Side of Manhattan and at the former St. Vincent de Paul Church in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
