Cecilie Leganger (born 12 March 1975) is a Norwegian retired handballer who played for the Norwegian national team.
Leganger made her debut on the Norwegian national team in 1993, 17 years old, and retired three years later, only 20. In 1993 she obtained bronze medal at the World Women's Handball Championship, being voted as Best Goalkeeper and Most Valuable Player at the championship. At the European Championship in 1994, she was voted best goalkeeper. At the 1995 World Championship she was again voted Best Goalkeeper. After a one-year break she made comeback as a club player, but did not play on the national team until the 1998 European Championship, winning gold medal with the Norwegian team and voted as best keeper in the championship. World Champion in 1999, again voted best keeper. She received bronze medal at the Olympic Championships in Sydney 2000. [1] At the World Championship in 2001 she voted again the best keeper.
As a club player she is Norwegian Champion from 1999 (with Bækkelaget), Slovenian Champion from 2004 (with Krim Ljubljana), Danish Champion from 2005 (with Slagelse), and Women's EHF Champion in 2004/05 and 2006/07. She played for Larvik HK from 2010 until 2014 which would be the last club she played for before retiring. She is considered by many as one of the best goalkeepers of all time.
Anja Jul Andersen is a former Danish team handball player and current coach. She is an Olympic champion, World champion and two times European champion. In 1997, she was named IHF World Player of the Year. She is widely regarded as one of the best female handball players of all time.

Gro Hammerseng-Edin is a Norwegian former handballer who last played for the club Larvik HK. She was captain of the Norwegian national team for several years, and in 2007 she was voted female World Handball Player of the Year.
Katja Johanna Alice Nyberg is a naturalized Norwegian handball player, currently retired. She played 99 games and scored 321 goals for the Norwegian national team during her career. With the Norwegian team she won a gold medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing and a silver medal at the 2007 World Women's Handball Championship in France, as well as two gold medals and one silver medal at the European Championships.
Valérie Nicolas is a French handball goalkeeper and former player of the French national team. She became World Champion in 2003 with the French team, and was also voted Most Valuable Player and Best Goalkeeper. She was voted into the All-Star Team in the 2007 World Championship. Among her other triumphs are a silver medal from the World Championships, two bronze medals from the European Championships, victories at the Champions League, the EHF Cup, the Cup Winners' Cup, and both French and Danish national championships.

As a club player she is several times Norwegian champion and once Danish champion, and has won the EHF Cup, EHF Cup Winners' Cup and the EHF Champions League.

Rikke Erhardsen Skov is a former Danish team handball player and Olympic champion. She received a gold medal with the Danish national team at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. A loyal player of Viborg HK, Skov joined the club yet as a teenager in 1994 and it remained her lone team till she retired in 2016 and retired from active sports when she became pregnant in February 2017.

However, in June 2016 Popović announced she would come out of retirement and make herself available for selection by the Montenegro national handball team to compete at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
