Heidi Marie Tjugum (born 5 September 1973) is a Norwegian team handball player and goalkeeper, and World Champion from 1999.

Tjugum was born in Drammen [2] on 5 September 1973. [1]

Career

Club career

As a youth player Tjugum representer the clubs Åssiden IF and Glassverket IF. From 1991 to 1997 she played for Bækkelagets SK, and then from 1997 to 2003 for the Danish club Viborg HK. She played for Nordstrand IF from 2003 to 2005, then for the German club Leipzig in 2007, and for Storhamar IL from 2007 to 2009. [1]

International career

Playing for the Norway women's national handball team, she received a silver medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. [3] She received a bronze medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. [4]

Monica Sandve is a Norwegian team handball player and Olympic medalist. She received a bronze medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney with the Norwegian national team. She played 94 matches and scored 245 goals for the Norwegian national handball team between 1995 and 2003. In addition to the bronze medal at the 2000 Olympics, Sandve represented Norway when the team won a silver medal at the 2001 World Women's Handball Championship in Italy, as well as winning a silver medal at the 2002 European Women's Handball Championship in Denmark.

Camilla Røseler Andersen is a former Danish team handball player, two times Olympic champion and a World champion. She received gold medals with the Danish national team at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta and at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. She is widely regarded as one of the best players Danish handball has ever seen. With 846 goals she has scored the most goals in the Danish Women's national team, ever and she has played the 4th most matches on the national team.
