Celestine Iwendi is a professor of artificial intelligence and the head of the Centre of Intelligence of Things (CIoTh) at the University of Bolton. His research focuses on the application of artificial intelligence to the Internet of Things (IoT),network security,privacy-preserving data methods for medical and IoMT (Internet of Medical Things) applications,and sustainable AI for socio-technical systems. According to university and professional profiles,Iwendi completed undergraduate and master's studies in electrical/electronic engineering at Nnamdi Azikiwe University (Nigeria),obtained further postgraduate training including a master's-level qualification at Uppsala University (Sweden),and earned a PhD in Electronics/ Electronics Engineering from the University of Aberdeen. Iwendi has held academic and research appointments in UK and international institutions and is listed as Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Head of the Centre of Intelligence of Things at the University of Bolton (CIoTh).
