The Fire Inside is the fourteenth studio album by American singer-songwriter Bob Seger. The album was released in mid 1991 on the record label, Capitol. It was Seger's first album of entirely new music since Like a Rock in 1986. Though credited to "The Silver Bullet Band", much of the album used guest and session musicians, with limited contributions from Silver Bullet Band members. Among the guest artists on the album are Joe Walsh, Bruce Hornsby, Roy Bittan, Steve Lukather, Don Was, Waddy Wachtel, Rick Vito, Mike Campbell, Patty Smyth, Lisa Germano, and Kenny Aronoff.

This was Lonestar's first studio album to have a crossover-friendly country-pop sound, which was a departure from their earlier neotraditional country sound. It is also their first studio album to be recorded as a four-piece, as bassist and second lead vocalist John Rich left the band the previous year in 1998. Instead of replacing him with a new member, the band hired several session bassists to play the album's bass parts.

The Shakin' Pyramids were a Scottish rockabilly band formed in Glasgow in 1980. The band consisted of Dave Duncan James G. Creighton and "Railroad" Ken McLellan.
Skin 'Em Up is the debut album from the Scottish neo-rockabilly group The Shakin' Pyramids, released in 1981 by Cuba Libre, a subsidiary of Virgin Records. It reached no. 48 on the UK Albums Chart, and yielded a single in "Tennessee Rock 'n' Roll". The band released three EPs during 1981, two of which were led by tracks from the album: Take a Trip and Tennessee Rock 'n' Roll. The album has been described as an important release in the early 1980s rockabilly revival.
The Shakin' Pyramids is a compilation album from the Scottish Neo-Rockabilly group The Shakin' Pyramids, released shortly after the group's disbandment in 1983 by Rock 'n Roll Records, a Scotti Brothers Records subsidiary. The album features ten tracks: five from their 1981 debut album, Skin 'Em Up, and five from their second and final album, Celts and Cobras, released in 1982. Although normally billed as a trio, live and session bassist Dave Rivett joins the band on the album cover.

The Happening Thang was an Australian country pop group formed in 1984 and the founding members were Andrew Travers, Catherine Wearne, Rose Pearse, Stuart Crysell and David Lennon. The band's line-up changed by the time they released their first album, The Happening Thang, in June 1989. Their second album was Saddlepop (1990), released on Trafalgar/WEA. The Happening Thang played their first gig on 19 August 1984 at a private party in Birchgrove - see photo on right featuring, Rose Pearse on bass guitar, Dave Lennon on drums, Catherine Wearne on vocals, Andrew Travers on acoustic guitar and lead vocals and Stuart Crysell on guitar.
