Central Heating 2 (also known as Central Heating Vol. 2) is the fourth compilation from Grand Central Records. The two disc album was originally released on 17 April 2000 and re-released with alternative sleeve art on 12 January 2004.

Grand Central Records was an independent record label based in the Northern Quarter of Manchester, England. It was started in 1995 by DJ Mark Rae. Rae started out working as manager of the Fat City Records' store. Grand Central also had a digital sub-label, GC3 which developed in the early to mid 2000's.

"Funky President (People It's Bad)" is a funk song by James Brown. Released as a single in 1974, it charted No. 4 R&B. It also appeared on the album Reality. According to Brown the "funky president" of the song's title was meant to refer to U.S. President Gerald Ford, who had succeeded Richard Nixon in the White House shortly before it was recorded.
