Cerro Pelado is a fast-growing population centre, or neighborhood, in the Maldonado Department of southeastern Uruguay. It is one of the northern suburbs of Maldonado, along with Villa Delia and La Sonrisa. In the 2011 census, it was the 6th biggest populated centre of the department. According to some reports, there are about 12000 inhabitants in the area of influence of this neighborhood. [1]

Melo is the capital city of the Cerro Largo Department of north-eastern Uruguay. As of the census of 2011, it is the ninth most populated city of the country.

Maldonado is the capital city of Maldonado Department, in eastern Uruguay. According to the 2023 Census, it is the fourth most populated city in the country, with about 90 thousand inhabitants. However, together with the cities of Punta del Este and San Carlos it makes up a conurbation with a population of over 135 thousand inhabitants.
