The Colorado House of Representatives is the lower house of the Colorado General Assembly,the state legislature of the U.S. state of Colorado. The House is composed of 65 members from an equal number of constituent districts,with each district having roughly 80 thousand people. Representatives are elected to two-year terms,and are limited to four consecutive terms in office,but can run again after a four-year respite.
Since Colorado became a U.S. state in 1876,it has sent congressional delegations to the United States Senate and United States House of Representatives,beginning with the 44th United States Congress. Prior to statehood,the Colorado Territory sent non-voting delegates to the House of Representatives from 1861 to 1876. Each state elects two senators to serve for six years,and members of the House to two-year terms. Each state elects two senators to serve for six years in general elections,with their re-election staggered. Prior to the ratification of the Seventeenth Amendment in 1913,senators were elected by the Colorado General Assembly. Each state elects a varying number of,but at least one,member of the House,depending on population,to two-year terms. Colorado has sent eight members to the House in each congressional delegation since the 2020 United States Census.
Keith King was an American Republican politician from Colorado. A onetime small businessman,he served in both the Colorado House of Representatives and the Colorado Senate. Later,he served on the Colorado Springs City Council,representing District 3 from 2013 to 2017.
Dominick Moreno is an American politician who served as a state legislator in Colorado. A Democrat,Moreno represented the 21st district of the Colorado Senate from January 11,2017 until he resigned on September 1,2023 to serve as deputy chief of staff to Denver Mayor Mike Johnston. Joseph D. Neguse is an American lawyer and politician serving as the U.S. representative for Colorado's 2nd congressional district since 2019. The district is based in Boulder and includes many of Denver's northwestern suburbs,as well as Fort Collins. A member of the Democratic Party,he was a regent of the University of Colorado from 2008 to 2015. Neguse is the first Eritrean-American elected to the United States Congress and Colorado's first black member of Congress. Neguse has served as House assistant Democratic leader since 2024.

Prior to 2023 and reapportionment,Holtorf represented the 64th house district. He assumed office on December 28,2019.

The 2022 Colorado House of Representatives elections took place on November 8,2022,along with the elections in the State Senate. The primary elections were held on June 28,2022. Voters in all 65 districts of the state House elected their representative for a two-year term. These coincided with other Colorado elections of the same year and the biennial United States elections.
