The politics of Colorado refers to the political system and electoral processes of the U.S. state of Colorado. The state operates under a constitution adopted in 1876 and features both a traditional three-branch system of government and extensive direct democracy mechanisms,including citizen initiatives and referendums.

In August 2024,she was convicted on seven charges —four of which were felonies —relating to unauthorized access to election machines. She was subsequently sentenced to nine years of incarceration.

The contest was held on Super Tuesday alongside primaries in 14 other states. Donald Trump won in 57 of the counties. Nikki Haley won the majority of the vote in seven counties. The counties Nikki Haley won were Denver,Boulder,Summit,Pitkin,Routt,San Miguel,and San Juan.
Stephanie Vigil is an American politician who is a member of the Colorado House of Representatives from the 16th district,which is located in Colorado Springs and includes most or parts of Cragmor,Knob Hill,Old North End Historic District,Patty Jewett and the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. She was elected in 2022 and assumed office in January 2023. She was defeated for re-election in 2024 by Republican Rebecca Keltie by just 3 votes out of 40,000+ cast,the closest state legislature election of 2024.
The 2024 Colorado House of Representatives elections took place on November 5,2024,with the primaries being held on June 25,2024.
