Chakra is the third studio album of the South Korean girl group Chakra. The singles were "Come Back" and "Da".
Chakra had gained popularity through their Indian-inspired music and powerful image. With Chakra 3, the group's third album, the group turned to a more emotional and feminine concept, as in their lead single "Come Back". [1] Prior to the album's release, the members of Chakra had been pursuing careers outside of the group. Jung Ryeo-won acted in the television drama Saxophone , Eun worked as a video jockey for a KMTV music program, and Hwangbo appeared as a panelist in various variety shows. In order to promote the album, the members halted individual activities and united as a group. [2] The members also helped in producing the album—along with their usual producer, Lee Sang-min, they supervised the song-selecting process and picked out the tracklist themselves. [2] Upon hearing "Come Back", the members decided it to be the album's lead single. [1]
During production, Eani parted ways with Chakra to study in the United States. She was replaced with Bona, who was chosen through an audition, [1] and the album was re-recorded with Bona's vocals. [3]
Chakra's lead single, "Come Back", is a ballad, one of two included in the album. [1] The medium tempo song features a string section backed by a 24-person orchestra, as well as violin by Eugene Park. [4] Actor Kwon Sang-woo also provided the song's narration. [2] The members chose "Come Back" as the lead single to "shake off the perception that dance singers can't sing". [1] The music video for "Come Back" was filmed at the Hard Rock Beach Hotel in Pattaya, and was sponsored by the Tourism Authority of Thailand. "Da", described by the Chosun Ilbo as a "Chakra-style dance track," is a fusion of Indian instruments and percussion with K-pop melodies. [4] Other tracks include the pop ballad "I Love You", the techno track "Four Beauties", and the disco number "If". [4]
Fin.K.L is a South Korean girl group formed by DSP Media in 1998 consisting of members Lee Hyori, Ock Joo-hyun, Lee Jin, and Sung Yu-ri. Fin.K.L was one of the most popular K-pop groups of the late 1990s and early 2000s, alongside rival girl group S.E.S. The group cemented their popularity in South Korea with the release the songs "To My Boyfriend" in 1998, "Eternal Love" in 1999, and "Now" in 2000.
Lee Hyo-ri is a South Korean singer, record producer, activist, actress and television presenter. She debuted as a member of group Fin.K.L in 1998, which became one of the most popular girl groups in South Korea during the late 1990s and early 2000s. Aside from Fin.K.L, she has also participated in several project groups, including the Refund Sisters and SSAK3 in 2020.
NRG, acronym for New Radiancy Group, was a South Korean pop music group. Originally a five-member boy band consisting of Chun Myung-hoon, Lee Sung-jin, Noh Yoo-min, Moon Sung-hoon, and Kim Hwan-sung, NRG debuted in 1997 and underwent sporadic periods of activity and hiatus between 2000 and 2008 before going on an extended hiatus. In 2017 they regrouped as a trio to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut and released an extended play.
Jewelry was a South Korean girl group formed in 2001 by Star Empire Entertainment. The group, which underwent several line-up changes over the years, disbanded in 2015. During their 14-year career, the group released six studio albums, which spawned hit songs including "I Really Like You" (2003), "Superstar" (2005) and "One More Time" (2008). The group also branched out into the Japanese market with the release of several successful singles there.

Kim Kang-hoon, better known by his stage name Yesung is a South Korean singer, songwriter, actor, radio personality and television presenter. He debuted in 2005 as a member of Super Junior and its subgroups Super Junior-K.R.Y. (2006), Super Junior-H (2008) and participated in SM Entertainment's projects SM The Ballad (2014). Aside from group activities, he has recorded songs for various television dramas and movies, participated in various television dramas, movies, musicals and radio hosting.
Hwangbo Hye-jeong, better known as Hwangbo, is a South Korean singer and rapper. She debuted in 1999 as a rapper in the group Bros, before joining the K-pop girl group Chakra in 2000. After Chakra disbanded in 2006, Hwangbo released the solo album Lady In Black in 2007. She has acted in South Korean dramas including Between Miss and Ma'am (2004) and Could Love Become Money (2012). She was also a cast member on the variety shows We Got Married (2008) and Infinite Girls (2008–2013).

"Dancing Queen" is a Korean song by South Korean girl group Girls' Generation. It was released on December 21, 2012, as the lead single from their fourth Korean studio album, I Got a Boy (2013). Recorded in 2008, the song was initially scheduled to be released as the title track for the group's second studio album. Nevertheless, the plan was withdrawn, and "Gee" and the titular EP was released instead as their first extended play.

"Why" is a song recorded by South Korean singer Taeyeon for her second extended play of the same name. It was released as the EP's second single on June 28, 2016 by SM Entertainment. The song's lyrics were penned by Jo Yoon-kyung, while its music was composed and arranged by LDN Noise, Lauren Dyson, and Rodnae "Chikk" Bell. Genie:us is the eighth Korean-language mini album from South Korean boy band Pentagon. It was released on March 27, 2019 by Cube Entertainment. The album consists of six tracks, with "Sha La La" serving as the album's title track. This is the first Korean-language EP the band has released as a nine-member group, with original member E’Dawn departing the group in late 2018, as well as the first album not to involve E'Dawn in any capacity. Member Kino did not participate in stage promotions for "Sha La La" due to an ankle injury he suffered in January. Starting on April 16, 2019, the group promoted the song "Spring Snow" for a week, for which Kino was able to participate in.
