Billa is a 2007 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by Vishnuvardhan. It is a remake of the 1980 film of the same name starring Rajnikanth, which itself is a remake of 1978 Hindi film Don, starring Amithabh Bachchan. The film stars Ajith Kumar who plays a double role as an underworld don and his friendly look-alike alongside Nayanthara and Namitha, while Prabhu, Rahman, Adithya Menon, and Santhanam playing supporting roles. Bodyguard is a 2011 Indian Hindi-language romantic action film directed by Siddique from a screenplay by Siddique, J.P. Chowksey, Kiran Kotrial and Aloke Upadhyaya. It is a remake of the 2010 Malayalam film of the same name directed by Siddique and stars Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor, with Raj Babbar, Mahesh Manjrekar, Aditya Pancholi and Hazel Keech in supporting roles. In the film, bodyguard Lovely Singh (Khan) is hired to shadow Divya Rana (Kapoor), and falls in love with Chhaya, a fake identity created by Divya.

Gabbar Singh is a 2012 Indian Telugu-language action comedy film directed by Harish Shankar. The film is inspired from the 2010 Hindi film Dabangg and stars Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Haasan. The plot follows a police officer who embarks on a mission to take down a corrupt politician. Devi Sri Prasad composed the film's music and Jayanan Vincent was the cinematographer. Inspired by a film character, Venkataratnam, a policeman, calls himself Gabbar Singh. He is posted in a village where a local thug wants to join politics and also lures his stepbrother to join him.

A remake of the Tamil film Thani Oruvan (2015), it follows Dhruva, an IPS officer who wants to arrest Siddharth Abhimanyu, a wealthy scientist, who uses secret medical and illegal practices for profit.
Bheemla Nayak is a 2022 Indian Telugu-language action thriller film directed by Saagar K Chandra from a screenplay by Trivikram Srinivas. It is an official remake of the 2020 Malayalam film Ayyappanum Koshiyum. The film stars Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati in lead roles.
