A three-time Olympian, he placed 22nd at the 1988 Winter Olympics, 21st at the 1992 Winter Olympics, and 17th at the 1994 Winter Olympics.

Kim Min-jung is a badminton player representing South Korea. Her name is sometimes spelled Kim Min-jeong. As a badminton player, Kim has focused on doubles with Ha Jung-eun; together they competed at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. In the past she has been paired with Hwang Ji-man and Yoo Yeon-seong in mixed doubles.
Chang Eun-jung is a South Korean former field hockey player who competed in the 1988 Summer Olympics, in the 1992 Summer Olympics, and in the 1996 Summer Olympics.
Jung Mi-ran is a South Korean former basketball player who competed in the 2004 Summer Olympics. She made her Women's Korean Basketball League debut later that year with Guri Kumho Life Insurance, and later played for the Cheongju KB Stars in the same league. In 2017 she was diagnosed with breast cancer, and took time off to recover until 2018. She announced her retirement in 2019.

She is a three-time Olympic Champion, a four-time World Champion, Four Continents Champion (2020), and the current world record holder for 1500m. Along with Chun Lee-kyung and Jin Sun-yu, Choi is widely regarded as one of the best female Korean short track speed skaters of all time.

Jung Seung-hwan is a South Korean ice sledge hockey player. He played in the 2010, 2014, 2018 and 2022 Paralympic Winter Games. He won a silver medal at the 2012 IPC Ice Sledge Hockey World Championships. Jung was a member of South Korea's bronze medal winning team in para ice hockey at the 2018 Winter Paralympics.
The opening ceremony of the 2018 Winter Olympics was held at the Pyeongchang Olympic Stadium in Pyeongchang, South Korea on 9 February 2018. It began at 20:00 KST and finished at approximately 22:20 KST. The Games were officially opened by President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in.

Kim Min-jung, nicknamed "MJ" is a South Korean curler. She was one of the coaches of the South Korean Women's Olympic Curling Team in 2018, skipped by Kim Eun-jung. After the Olympics, Team Kim accused Min-jung and her father Kim Kyung-doo of abusing the team. She is no longer the coach of the team.
