Jung Seung-hwan is a South Korean ice sledge hockey player. He played in the 2010, 2014, 2018 and 2022 Paralympic Winter Games. He won a silver medal at the 2012 IPC Ice Sledge Hockey World Championships. Jung was a member of South Korea's bronze medal winning team in para ice hockey at the 2018 Winter Paralympics.
The opening ceremony of the 2018 Winter Olympics was held at the Pyeongchang Olympic Stadium in Pyeongchang, South Korea on 9 February 2018. It began at 20:00 KST and finished at approximately 22:20 KST. The Games were officially opened by President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in.

In February 2018, the IPC had recommended North Korea to participate, and so North Korea made its Winter Paralympic debut. Teams representing South Korea and North Korea had planned to enter the Opening Ceremony marching under the Korean Unification Flag, however talks between the two teams failed to do so, and they entered separately in the opening ceremony under their own respective flags.

Kim Cho-hi, nicknamed Chocho is a South Korean curler from Uijeongbu. She was the alternate, but now plays second for Team Kim Eun-jung. The Kim team represented South Korea at the 2018 Winter Olympics where they won a silver medal.
Kim Min-jung, nicknamed "MJ" is a South Korean curler. She was one of the coaches of the South Korean Women's Olympic Curling Team in 2018, skipped by Kim Eun-jung. After the Olympics, Team Kim accused Min-jung and her father Kim Kyung-doo of abusing the team. She is no longer the coach of the team.
