Genesis are an English rock band formed at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, in 1967. The band's most commercially successful line-up consisted of keyboardist Tony Banks, bassist/guitarist Mike Rutherford and drummer/singer Phil Collins. The 1970s line-up featuring singer Peter Gabriel and guitarist Steve Hackett was among the pioneers of progressive rock.
Raymond Wilson is a Scottish singer and guitarist, vocalist in the post-grunge band Stiltskin and in Genesis from 1996 to 2000.
...Calling All Stations... is the fifteenth and final studio album by English rock band Genesis. It was released 1 September 1997 by Virgin Records, and is their only album featuring Scottish singer Ray Wilson as frontman following the departure of longtime drummer/singer Phil Collins in 1996. The remaining members—founding keyboardist Tony Banks and guitarist/bassist Mike Rutherford—decided to continue the band and write new music for an album, during which they auditioned singers and picked Wilson.
"Supper's Ready" is a song by the band Genesis from their 1972 fourth album, Foxtrot. Containing seven sections, it is the band's longest song, filling the entire second side of the album's original vinyl release. "Mama" is a song by the English rock band Genesis, released as the first single in 1983 from their self-titled album. It is recognisable for its harsh drum machine introduction composed by Mike Rutherford, which leads into minimalist synthesizer lines in a minor tonality and finally Phil Collins' reverb-laden voice. It remains the band's most successful single in the UK, peaking at No. 4 on the UK Singles Chart. It also made the top 10 in Switzerland, Austria, Norway, Ireland and the Netherlands. It was less popular in the US, only reaching No. 73 on the Billboard Hot 100. A 1992 re-release of the single managed to reach the Top 40 in Germany.
"The Carpet Crawlers" is a song by the English progressive rock band Genesis, recorded for their sixth studio album The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway. Mike Rutherford and Tony Banks wrote most of the music, with the help of Peter Gabriel. Lyrically, the song tells the section of the album's story whereby Rael, the lead character, finds himself in a red carpeted corridor surrounded by kneeling people slowly crawling towards a wooden door. Rael dashes by them towards the door and goes through it. Behind the door is a table with a candlelit feast on it, and behind that, a spiral staircase that leads upwards out of sight.
"Follow You Follow Me" is a love song written and recorded by English rock band Genesis. It was released in March 1978 as the first single from their ninth studio album, ...And Then There Were Three... (1978). The music was composed by the band, and the lyrics were written by bassist and guitarist Mike Rutherford. The single became Genesis' first top 10 hit in the UK and first top 40 hit in the US, reaching No. 7 and No. 23 respectively.
"Throwing It All Away" is the seventh track on the 1986 album Invisible Touch by Genesis. It was the second single from the album in 1986, reaching No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 22 in Britain, where it was released as the last single of the album in 1987. In the U.S., it also went to No. 1 on Billboard's Adult Contemporary chart in October 1986 and the Album Rock Tracks chart in August 1986. The working title was "Zephyr and Zeppo".
"That's All" is a song by English rock band Genesis. It is a group composition and appears as the second track on their 1983 album Genesis. It was the album's second single after "Mama". On June 17, 1993, MCA Records re-issued and re-released the song as a CD and "HiQ" cassette single.

Ray Wilson Live is a live album from Ray Wilson. It was originally made available on the Sandport label through Ray Wilson's website in March 2005, before a wider release on the InsideOut label in December 2005.
An Audience and Ray Wilson is a live acoustic album by Ray Wilson released in 2006 prior to his reforming of Stiltskin. The recording comes from a live performance given by Ray Wilson on 18 May 2003 in the Agnieszka Osiecka studio of Polish Radio in Warsaw. According to the information on the sleeve, Ray Wilson "regards this performance as the best solo concert he has done to date. The concert is a fusion of stories, humour and music and is enjoyed by a very attentive and respectful Polish audience." The CD was made available exclusively through his website.
"Fading Lights" is the twelfth and final song on the album We Can't Dance by Genesis. The song was written by Tony Banks, Phil Collins, and Mike Rutherford, with lyrics by Tony Banks. It is the longest song on the album.
Live and Acoustic is a live album and first CD release from Ray Wilson. It was originally released as Unplugged in late 2001 via his website, but was reissued in 2002 as Live and Acoustic by InsideOut Music. It was recorded in August 2001 during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for which Wilson played 13 sold out shows.
The Way We Walk – Live in Concert is a 2002 double DVD featuring live performances from the We Can't Dance tour by Genesis. The footage was videotaped on 8 November 1992 at Earls Court in London, and first released on VHS in March 1993 as Genesis Live – The Way We Walk – In Concert. It was also available on PAL format LaserDisc.
Peter Frampton is the eleventh studio album by English singer-songwriter Peter Frampton. Released in 1994, the album, along with three unreleased tracks from 1992's compilation album, Shine On - A Collection, were the artist's only studio releases of the 1990s. The album also features one of the last recordings made by Peter's former bandmate Steve Marriott on "Out of the Blue". An expanded version of the album was issued in 2000.
Genesis: Together and Apart is a 2014 documentary about the English rock band Genesis and its members' solo projects. Made by the BBC, it was first broadcast on BBC Two in the UK on 4 October 2014. It was the first time drummer and singer Phil Collins, former singer Peter Gabriel, keyboardist Tony Banks, bassist Mike Rutherford and guitarist Steve Hackett had reunited since the Six of the Best reunion concert (1982). The documentary was released on DVD and Blu-ray in November 2014 as Genesis: Sum of the Parts. The companion box set R-Kive also features tracks from the band member's solo albums.
Genesis supported their 1997 album Calling All Stations with a 47-date European tour from 29 January to 31 May 1998, featuring shows in large arenas throughout Europe. The core trio of lead vocalist Ray Wilson, keyboardist Tony Banks, and guitarist/bassist Mike Rutherford were joined by Israeli musician Nir Zidkyahu on drums, percussion, and backing vocals and Irish musician Anthony Drennan on guitar and bass. This was the only tour with Wilson, Zidkyahu and Drennan, as well as the first since 1978 not to feature longtime singer/drummer Phil Collins or touring members Daryl Stuermer and Chester Thompson as part of the lineup. Rehearsals took place at Bray Film Studios in Windsor and the Working Men's Club in Chiddingfold, England close the band's recording studio. The tour concluded with spots at the Rock am Ring and Rock im Park Festival in Germany. A majority of the older songs were transposed in a lower key to accommodate Wilson's lower vocal range. Midway through the set included an acoustic medley of songs from their 1970s output.
