Changwon United FC was a South Korean football club, based in Changwon. Founded as Changwon Doodae FC in 1998, the club changed its name to Changwon United FC in August 2007. It used to be a member of the K3 League, but withdrew from it during the 2008 season.

The 2011 Korean League Cup, known as the Rush & Cash Cup for sponsorship reasons, was the 19th and final season of League Cup competition for K League's 16 football clubs. The competition began on 16 March 2011, and ended with the one-legged final on 13 July 2011.

The 2011 Korea National League Championship was the cup competition of Korea National League in South Korea. The 8th edition of Korea National League Championship was held from June 19 to 30 in Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do. Ansan Hallelujah FC did not participate, so the National Police Agency FC participated in its place as an invitee.
