He was apprehended in 2007 through DNA evidence and sentenced to 75 years-to-life, serving 16 years before dying from apparent suicide in 2023.

The Cincinnati Strangler was the name given to an American serial killer responsible for the murder of seven women in Cincinnati, Ohio, between December 1965 and December 9, 1966. During the investigation, a local resident, Posteal Laskey Jr., was declared the main suspect in the killings and was arrested on December 9, 1966, for one of the murders for which he was subsequently convicted. Although he was never charged with the other murders, the media and police blamed him for the other deaths since according to the official version of the investigators, the murders ceased after his arrest.

Carlton Michael Gary was an American serial killer who murdered three elderly women in Columbus, Georgia, and one in Syracuse, New York, between 1975 and 1978, though he is suspected of at least four more killings. Gary was arrested in December 1978 for an armed robbery and sentenced to 21 years in prison. He escaped from custody in 1983 and was caught a year later. Evidence was found linking him to the earlier murders and he was convicted and sentenced to death in August 1986. He was executed by lethal injection on March 15, 2018.

Since his victims were all five to nine years of age, he is also known as the Bahadurgarh baby killer.

He is serving his prison sentence, life without parole, in Menard Correctional Center, which is operated by the Illinois Department of Corrections. During his spree of murders he was known as the Englewood Strangler. Geralds is in custody under the identification number B39967. He was admitted to the Menard Correctional Center on January 16, 1998.

Jose Sifuentes is an American serial killer who abducted, raped, and strangled three women in Dallas, Texas, from 1998 to 2003. He was identified as a suspect after the final murder and was arrested, but after posting bail he fled to Mexico and spent the next sixteen years as a fugitive. In 2019, the FBI apprehended him, and he was extradited to the United States the following year. He pleaded guilty to each murder in 2021 and was sentenced to life in prison.
Emanuel Lovell Webb, known as The East End Killer, is an American serial killer who raped and killed four women in Bridgeport, Connecticut, from 1990 to 1993. After the murders were connected and a search for the killer was underway, Webb moved to Georgia, where he raped and killed a woman in Vidalia in 1994. He was convicted of that murder and sentenced to 20 years in prison, being paroled in 2001. In 2006, after DNA linked him to the Bridgeport murders, he was extradited to Connecticut, where he pled no contest in 2008 and was sentenced to 60-years in prison.
