Charlie Brown (born 20 October 1986) is a British singer and songwriter from London. [1] He supported N-Dubz star Dappy on his UK tour in 2012. [2] His single "On My Way" was released by All Around the World Productions. [3] [4]

Career

2012–present: Breakthrough

On 2 December 2012, Brown released his debut single "Dependency", the song features vocals from Yungen and Ms D. He released his second single "She Makes Me" on 19 December 2012. He released the single "On My Way" which was released by All Around the World Productions on 24 March 2013, the song peaked at number seven on the UK Singles Chart, making it his first and only top ten single. In July 2013 he released the single "Floodgates". On 8 June he had duetted with Misha B on "Floodgates Part 2", which was officially released 21 July. [5] He released the single "Bones" on 13 October 2013.

Uncle B is the debut studio album released by British hip hop group N-Dubz. The album is dedicated to former N-Dubz manager and father of Dappy, Byron Contostavlos, who died shortly before the band were signed to their second record label All Around the World. It entered the official UK Albums Chart at number 11. On 6 January 2009 it was announced on the official All Around the World website that the album had gone platinum. Seven singles have been released from the album, with the first three being released by LRC, and the last four being released by All Around the World. The album was not released until in 2008, despite recording starting in 2006. This was due to the group changing record label from LRC to All Around the World.

His trademark was wearing a selection of woolly chullos, turning up one or both of the ear-flaps of the hat.

Bad Intentions is the debut solo studio album from British rapper, singer, and songwriter Dappy, released on 22 October 2012 via Takeover Entertainment Limited and Island Records. The album is Dappy's first studio material released since the split of his previous hip-hop band, N-Dubz. The release of the album was announced in July 2011. On 3 July 2012, the album was confirmed for release on 1 October, however, the album was later pushed back two weeks to 15 October before eventually being released on 22 October. Bad Intentions includes guest appearances from English musician Brian May, English-Irish boy band The Wanted and upcoming British rapper Margs. The album produced two singles before the release, the lead single "No Regrets" which entered at number 1 on the UK Singles Chart, "Rockstar" featuring Brian May which attained similar success and "Good Intentions". The fourth single "Yin Yang" failed to peak within the top 40.
