Charlie Follett (born 8 April 1997) is a British modern pentathlete.

Early life

From North Somerset, [2] she attended Backwell School, [3] and in 2011, won silver at the British junior modern pentathlon championships. [4] She later attended the University of Bath.

Career

At the age of 21 years-old, she finished ninth in the Indian competition at the European Junior Modern Pentathlon Championships in El Prat de Llobregat, in 2018. [5] At the same event, she won the women's relay gold medal with Zoe Davidson. [6] Alongside Davidson, she finished fourth in th relay at the 2019 European Modern Pentathlon Championships. [7]

A fractured knee cap in 2020 caused Follett to miss an entire season. [8] She recovered to win individual and team gold at the 2022 European Modern Pentathlon Championships in Székesfehérvár, Hungary. [9] [10]

She won team gold at the 2022 World Modern Pentathlon Championships in Alexandria, Egypt alongside Olivia Green and Jessica Varley. [11] [12]

She was selected for the 2023 European Games in Kraków, but had to withdraw due to injury. [13]

Mhairi Spence is a British modern pentathlete. She has won a series of medals at European and World Championships, but was not selected for the 2008 Summer Olympics by the British team due to the limited number of places available. After considering retiring in 2009, she returned to the sport and in 2012 she won gold medals in both the individual and the team events at the 2012 World Championships, and qualified to be chosen for the 2012 Summer Olympics.

Luke Greenbank is an English professional swimmer who specialises in backstroke. A medalist in the 200 metre backstroke at the Olympic Games and the World and European championships, he also swam the first leg in the 2019 World and 2020 European Championship gold medal-winning Great Britain medley relay teams. He won a silver medal as lead-off for Great Britain in the 4 x 100 metre medley relay for men at the 2020 Summer Olympics. He won a gold medal as lead-off for England in the heats of the 4 x 100 metre medley relay for men at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Joseph Choong is a British modern pentathlete. He won the gold medal in the event at the 2020 Summer Olympics and the World title in 2022 and 2023.

Katherine Elizabeth French is a British modern pentathlete who won the gold medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.

James Cooke is a British modern pentathlete. Cooke is both the 2018 World and 2019 European champion in the individual event, and the 2019 European Champion in the Team event with Tom Toolis and Joe Choong.
