Cheeseburger is an American hard rock band. [1] [3] They are perhaps best known for their song "Commin' Home", which was used as the theme song for the Adult Swim animated television series Superjail! , which was co-created by the band's guitarist, Christy Karacas, who is also known for creating Ballmastrz: 9009 . [1] [4]

Spin has referred to the band as "The Hives, minus the Swedish accents (and matching formalwear)". [5]

In July 2021, vocalist Jayson Green announced that drummer Luke Crotty had died. [6]

Gang's All Here

On June 10, 2005, Cheeseburger's released the 6 song EP "Gang's All Here" on Kemado Records. [7] The album art features Joe Bradley in a parody of Nilsson Schmilsson.

Self-titled LP

Their first album, the self-titled "Cheeseburger" was released in 2007.

Another Big Night Down The Drain

In March 2011, the band announced it would release its second album Another Big Night Down The Drain on May 3 of the same year from Williams Street Records, Adult Swim's independent music label. [4] Original band members Bradley, Crotty and Karacas are now joined by Jayson Green (vocals), Christian Gordy (bass) and Eric Dufresne (guitar) on the release. To support the album's release, Cheeseburger performed in Austin, TX at the 2011 South by Southwest festival. [8]

It was also announced that a lot of the music from the second album would be featured all throughout the upcoming season of Superjail!.

Along with performing the theme song for Superjail!, Cheeseburger is also well known for their work on video games and movies. Their song "Cocaine" is on the Radio Broker station in the video game Grand Theft Auto IV, "Comin Home" was featured on the soundtrack of the video game Skate 3, "Winner" was used in Saints Row: The Third and their song "Derby Day" was included in the closing credits of the movie Step Brothers . [10]

Guitarist Christy Karacas studied film and animation at the Rhode Island School of Design. [11]

Dave Hughes is an American television producer and editor, currently employed at Williams Street as well the founder of his production studio, Million Monkeys Inc. Hughes previously worked as a video editor while at MTV Animation, working on series such as Beavis and Butt-head, Celebrity Deathmatch and Cartoon Sushi, before meeting with coworker Matt Harrigan to work on Space Ghost Coast to Coast in Los Angeles. He has worked on several Adult Swim series, and is the creator of his own show for the network, Off the Air.

Oathbreaker is a Belgian band from Flanders, formed in 2008 and currently signed to Deathwish Inc. The band consists of guitarists Lennart Bossu and Gilles Demolder, drummer Wim Coppers, and vocalist Caro Tanghe who performs both screamed and sung vocals. They are a part of Church of Ra, an artistic collective started by Amenra, a band of which Lennart and Caro are also members. Like Amenra, Oathbreaker emerged from the Belgian underground hardcore punk scene but integrated extreme metal and art music aesthetics.

The series stars actress Natasha Lyonne as the voice of Gaz Digzy, an athletic superstar in a dystopian future where humanity is satiated by a violent sport simply known as "The Game". The series is characterized by anime-style iconography, dark humor, and shock value.
