This is a list of more than 1,100 properties and districts in Nebraska that are on the National Register of Historic Places. Of these, 20 are National Historic Landmarks. There are listings in 90 of the state's 93 counties.

The Appomattox Historic District national historic district located at Appomattox, Appomattox County, Virginia. It contains 297 contributing buildings, 6 contributing structures, and 3 contributing objects in Appomattox. It includes Courthouse Square, the commercial district surrounding the railroad tracks, the Appomattox depot (1923), and surrounding residential areas dating back to the 19th century. Notable buildings include the Appomattox Courthouse (1892), Appomattox County Jail (1895-1897), County Office Building (1940), Knickerbocker Hotel (1892), Bank of Appomattox (1906), Appomattox Middle School (1908), Appomattox Pentecostal Holiness Church, and "The Nebraska House".
The Sioux County Courthouse, located at the northeast corner of Main and 3rd Streets in Harrison, is the center of government of Sioux County, Nebraska. The courthouse was built in 1930 to replace the county's first courthouse, an 1888 building that had fallen into poor condition. Architect E.L. Goldsmith of Scottsbluff designed the courthouse in the County Citadel style, a Classical Revival-influenced design used in six Nebraska courthouses. The courthouse's design features six fluted pilasters on the front facade and a central entrance with a round arch. The front side of the building also includes a lintel above the doorway, moldings with decorative capitals around the entrance, and a cornice with the inscription "Sioux County Court House".
The Dawson County Courthouse is a historic courthouse building located at 700 North Washington Street, between 7th and 8th streets in Lexington, Dawson County, Nebraska Dawson County, Nebraska. It was built during 1913-14 and is listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
The Keokuk County Courthouse located in Sigourney, Iowa, United States, was built in 1911. It was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981 as a part of the County Courthouses in Iowa Thematic Resource. In 1999 it was included as a contributing property in the Public Square Historic District. The courthouse is the fourth building the county has used for court functions and county administration.
The Poweshiek County Courthouse in Montezuma, Iowa, United States, was built in 1859. It was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981 as a part of the County Courthouses in Iowa Thematic Resource. In 2012 it was listed as a contributing property in the Montezuma Downtown Historic District. The courthouse is the second building the county has used for court functions and county administration.
The Lucas County Courthouse located in Chariton, Iowa, United States, was built in 1893. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981 as a part of the County Courthouses in Iowa Thematic Resource. In 2014 it was included as a contributing property in the Lucas County Courthouse Square Historic District. The courthouse is the third building the county has used for court functions and county administration.
The Adair County Courthouse, located in Greenfield, Iowa, United States, was built from 1891 to 1892. It was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981 as a part of the County Courthouses in Iowa Thematic Resource. In 2014 it was included as a contributing property in the Greenfield Public Square Historic District. The courthouse is the third structure to house county courts and administration offices.

The Holt County Courthouse in O'Neill, Nebraska is a historic building that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is located on N. 4th St. between E. Clay and Benton Streets. It was built in 1936.
The Sheridan County Courthouse, located at 2nd and Sprague Sts. in Rushville, Nebraska, was built in 1904. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990. It has also been designated Nebraska historic site SH08-1.
The Dundy County Courthouse, located at W. 7th Ave. and Chief St. in Benkelman, Nebraska, was built in 1921.
The Howard County Courthouse, on Indian St. between 6th and 7th Sts. in St. Paul, Nebraska, was built in 1912. It was designed by Berlinghof & Davis and George A. Berlinghof in Classical Revival style.
The Dawes County Courthouse in Chadron, Nebraska was built in 1935. It was designed in Art Deco style by John W. Latenser & Sons, Inc.. It is the courthouse of Dawes County, Nebraska.

The Greeley County Courthouse in Greeley, Nebraska was built in 1913–14. It was designed by architects Berlinghof & Davis in Classical Revival style. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.
