Chervonosilske is a village in Ilovaisk urban hromada, Donetsk Raion, Donetsk Oblast of Ukraine. [1]
During the war in eastern Ukraine the village fell into the combat zone. [2] On 29 August 2014, during the move back from IIovaisk, pro-Russian separatists troops with the support of the regular Russian army began shooting on Ukrainian Armed forces in the "green corridor". [ citation needed ]
On 30 August 2014 combatants of the Ukrainian volunteer battalion were allegedly captured in Chervonosilske village by militants from Russian military forces and were held in captivity of "pro-Russian rebels in the city of Donetsk." [3] Also, on the outskirts of Chervonosilske a fire engine ran on the position of the Russian T-72 (sixth separate tank brigade of the Russian Armed Forces), a tank fired direct fire. [4] The soldiers of the volunteer battalion "Donbass" were disarmed by Russian paratroopers and handed to the pro-Russian rebels which were torturing them. There were a lot of captured Russian regular army soldiers which were handed over to representatives of the Russian command on the morning of August 30, 2014 in Chervonosilske. [5] [6] [7]
The 79th Separate Tavrian Air Assault Brigade of Mykolaiv is a formation of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces. The paratrooper brigade is based in Mykolaiv.
The 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade "Kholodnyi Yar" is a formation of the Ukrainian Ground Forces formed in 1992. It has been described as "one of the most brutally effective" of Ukraine’s front-line brigades.
The Battle of Ilovaisk started on 7 August 2014, when the Armed Forces of Ukraine and pro-Ukrainian paramilitaries began a series of attempts to capture the city of Ilovaisk from pro-Russian insurgents affiliated with the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and detachments of the Russian Armed Forces. Although Ukrainian forces were able to enter the city on 18 August, they were encircled between 24 and 26 August by overwhelming Russian military forces that crossed the border, joining the battle. After days of encirclement, Ukrainian forces rejected the DPR's proposal to open a humanitarian corridor on the condition that they abandon their armored vehicles and ammunition, and on the morning of 29 August 2014 began to leave Ilovaisk with their weapons. The Russian side opened fire on the evacuating Ukrainian soldiers, many of whom died whilst trying to escape.

Population: 3,614 The settlement was controlled by the Russian military from February 24, 2022, to September 10, 2022.

In 2013, he has competed his PhD dissertation "Reception of William Shakespeare in Ukrainian emigration literature process of 1940-1960-s". Drozdovskyi is a scholar whose academic goals are in the field of contemporary English and British literature, European studies, Shakespearean studies and cultural explanations of post-postmodernism which combines modern and postmodern aesthetics.
42nd Motorized Infantry Battalion is a formation of the Ukrainian Ground Forces. It was originally formed as the 42nd Territorial Defence Battalion "Rukh Oporu" in Kirovohrad.
The 21st Separate Guards Red Banner Omsk-Novobug Order of Bogdan Khmelnitsky Motorized Rifle Brigade, or simply the 21st Guards Motor Rifle Brigade was a formation of the Russian Ground Forces based in Orenburg Oblast. It was formed on 1 June 2009 from the 27th Guards Motor Rifle Division as a result of the 2008 Russian military reform.
The 331st Guards Airborne Regiment is a formation of the Russian Airborne Troops. The regiment, a part of the 98th Guards Airborne Division, was considered to be one of Russia's elite units, but suffered large losses during the Russian invasion of Ukraine that started in February 2022.
From July 19 to August 10, 2014, during the war in Donbas, units of the 95th Air Assault Brigade, reinforced with assets from the 25th Airborne and 30th and 51st Mechanized Brigades, conducted a raid, during which they advanced from Kramatorsk, fighting Russian and separatist forces in Artemivsk, Debaltseve, Savur-Mohyla, Krasnyi Luch and Luhansk, returning back to Kramatorsk. During the raid, the 95th Brigade paratroopers entered into armed clashes with the Russian Army.

The UCA was formed in spring of 2016 by a merger of two cyber activist groups, FalconsFlame and Trinity. It was joined later by group RUH8 and individual activists from the CyberHunta group. Fights on the Ukrainian–Russian border in 2014, also famous as "Operation to restore the state border", "Battle at the border", Battle in sector D , – an episode of the war in eastern Ukraine, the battle of anti-terrorist operation forces against illegal armed groups supported by Russian artillery in the border areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions during summer campaign in Donbass. Fighting broke out in Sector D of the anti-terrorist operation during the "operation to restore the state border" during June–August 2014. The main task of the Anti-Terrorist Operation Forces was to restore control over the section of the state border Izvaryne – Kumachovo and to cut the routes for illegal armed groups.

The 1st Separate Feodosia Battalion of Marines is a marine battalion of the Ukrainian Marine Corps part of the 36th Marine Brigade. It is located in the city of Mykolaiv, on the Alyaudy Peninsula.
503rd Separate Marine Bataillon is a bataillon of the 38th Marine Brigade. It was established in late 2015 as a part of the Ukrainian Navy's 36th Marine Brigade as the 701st Marine Battalion but was transferred to the Ukrainian Marine Corps in 2018. It became a part of the 38th Marine Brigade in February 2023 which was established on the basis of the battalion. It is garrisoned at Mariupol.

It has taken part in multiple engagements throughout the Russo-Ukrainian war and is currently deployed on the frontlines.
