Chhut Serey Vannthong is a Cambodian martial artist that competes professionally in the Cambodian sport of Kun Khmer. He is a member of Cambodia's national Kun Khmer team. The Kampuchea Thmey Daily previously listed him as a top 10 Kun Khmer boxer in early 2023. [2]
On August 22, 2020, Chhut Serey Vannthong lost to Elite Chamroeun 4 to 1 at the "Khmer Emperor ISI PALM-ISI PIPE" on PNN. Vannthong was disatisfied with the results and asked the Khmer boxing federation to reconsider. He intends to fight Elite Chamroeun in the near future and asked the judges to score fairly and accurately. [3]
Chhut Serey Vannthong was scheduled to participated in the Samdech Pichey Sena Tea Banh Cup at TV5 Boxing Arena. The tournament featured eight of Cambodia's top martial artist competing in the 60 kilogram category. The reward for the first and second-place winners included a lot, twin villa and 10x20 house and cash prizes. [4] Serey Vannthong defeated Khim Bora and won the "Samdech Pichey Sena Tea Banh" belt. The results was a split decision with Vannthong winning 3–2 to Bora. Some fans were critical of the verdict and blamed the judges. Serey Vannthong won 6 million riel and a villa. [5]
Chhut Serey Vannthong fought Pich Sambath in a Mas format bout. The match was a nine-minute round where knockout was the only way to claim victory. The match resulted in a draw based on the rules of the format. [6]
Chhut Serey Vannthong made Kampuchea Thmey Daily's top 10 list of Khmer boxers who had the best first half of 2023. [7] The fighter from Battambang was very successful in the beginning of 2023. His accomplishment included winning the NNP championship and a gold medal at the SEA Games. Chhut Serey Vannthong won the NNP Kun Khmer title by beating Elit San via points. [8]
On September 30, 2023, Serey Vannthong knocked down Japan's Kamemoto Yusho with a series of elbows which caused the referee to stop the match in the first round. [9]
On August 4, 2024, Serey Vannthong was beaten by Japanese kickboxer, Taimu Hisai, within the first round at the Knock Out arena. [10]

Marshal Lon Nol was a Cambodian military officer and politician who served as Prime Minister of Cambodia twice, as well as serving repeatedly as defence minister and provincial governor. As a nationalist and conservative, he led the military coup of 1970 against Prince Norodom Sihanouk, abolished the monarchy, and established the short-lived Khmer Republic. Constitutionally a semi-presidential republic, Cambodia was de facto governed under a military dictatorship. He was the commander-in-chief of the Khmer National Armed Forces during the Cambodian Civil War and became President of the Khmer Republic on March 10th, 1972. On April 1, 1975, 16 days before the Khmer Rouge captured Phnom Penh, Lon Nol fled to the United States, first to Hawaii and then to California, where he remained until his death in 1985.

Kun Khmer, or Pradal Serey, is a combat sport that originated in Cambodia. The sport consists of stand up striking and clinch fighting, where the objective is to knock an opponent out, force a technical knockout, or win a match by points. The sport was codified in Cambodia by the French colonial administration in the early 20th century, and was derived from centuries-old traditions, namely Bokator, the close-quarter combat system used during the Khmer empire. The official Khmer name of the sport is Kbach Kun Pradal Khmer.
Eh Phouthong, also spelled Ei Phouthang and Eh Phuthong is a retired Cambodian professional kickboxer, Kun Khmer fighter, former reality TV host and currently a coach. Eh Phouthong was known for his powerful right kick which shattered many arms, he is considered a legend in Kun Khmer He is the most famous kickboxer from Cambodia. The AFP described Eh Phouthong as "Cambodia's Muhammad Ali". Eh Phouthong is the trainer of Cambodian champion, Thoeun Theara.
Thun Sophea is a retired professional kickboxer from Svay Rieng, Cambodia. He is the 2006 Cambodian Television Network Traditional Khmer Kickboxing champion. Thun Sophea trained at the Ministry of Defense Boxing Association under Chhit Sarim, who also trained Cambodian champion Eh Phouthong at the Ministry of Defense Boxing Club. Thun Sophea was once considered Cambodia's best kickboxer. He had defeated every notable Cambodian fighter including Sen Bunthen, Vorn Viva, Meas Chantha, Chey Kosal and Outh Phouthang.

Ek Yi Oun was a Cambodian politician and a member of the Sangkum party who served as the Prime Minister of Cambodia from 11 January until 17 January 1958. With a term of six days, he remains the shortest-served Prime Minister of Cambodia to date. He served as acting President of the National Assembly of Cambodia in 1970.

In 2022, he rose to fame after becoming the first Cambodian boxer to win a title at a Thai Fight event when he won the Thai Fight Kard Chuek 72.5 kg King's Cup Championship by technical knockout out Thai star Saiyok Pumpanmuang in Thailand. After defeating Saiyok Pumpanmuang and Beckham Banchamek, the World Muaythai Organization (WMO) ranked Theara #1 in the world Muaythai middleweight rankings (72.5 kg) category. Theara is considered one of the most successful fighters in Kun Khmer. The Star described Thoeun Theara as a "Cambodian Bruce Lee" who is known for using furious punches and elbows in his competition fights.
Prom Samnang, is a Cambodian Kun Khmer fighter and is one of the most successful Kun Khmer fighters in Cambodia. In 2023, Samnang won the Thai Fight Kard Chuek championship title in Thailand and won the gold medal against Tun Tun Min in the Khun Khmer Men's 81kg division.
Phal Sophorn is a Cambodian professional Kun Khmer fighter originally from the capital city of Phnom Penh. He has extensive experience in both boxing and Kun Khmer kickboxing. His ring nickname is Nak Leng Keng Pi Kheat and Damrey Phluk Pi Kheat, which translate to "the Killer Elbow" and "the Killer Elephant" respectively.
The World Lethwei Federation (WLF) was founded in 2019 as the international governing body for amateur and professional Lethwei. The WLF has the responsibility to sanction and support the growth of Lethwei worldwide outside of Myanmar, including enforcement of its traditions, rules and regulations.

Lorn Panha is a Cambodian professional Kun Khmer fighter and kickboxer. He is a member of Cambodia's national kickboxing team. He has garnered recognition both domestically and internationally.
Pich Sambath is a Cambodian professional Kun Khmer fighter and kickboxer. As born in a poor family, Sambath sees Kun Khmer as a good career for his life. He starts training Kun Khmer in 2020 at Pich Sophann Kun Khmer Gym and his coach is Mr. Pich Sophann, a former Kun Khmer fighter. Currently his weight fighting range is 57 kg-60 kg.
Pich Sophann is a retired professional Kun Khmer fighter and kickboxer. Now he is a Kun Khmer trainer and a founder of Pich Sophann 8888 Kun Khmer Gym and Kun Khmer Grassroots Super fight and Gym. He has 40 trainees under his supervision included Pich Sambath, a famous champion of Kun Khmer lightweight 60 kg. Sophann was named as Heavy Fist Punch Fighter during his fighting career from 1999–2009.
