Chimdi Chekwa (born October 7, 1988) is an American former professional football player who was a cornerback in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Ohio State Buckeyes. He was selected by the Oakland Raiders in the fourth round of the 2011 NFL draft. [1]

Chekwa was selected by the Oakland Raiders in the fourth round, 113th overall, in the 2011 NFL draft. [4]
He was signed by the New England Patriots on March 12, 2015. He was released by the team on May 18, 2015. [5]
Chekwa re-signed with the Raiders on May 19, 2015.
Chekwa signed with the Dolphins. On September 3, 2016, he was released as part of final roster cuts. [6] He was re-signed by the Dolphins on October 11, 2016. [7] He was released by the Dolphins on November 7, 2016. [8]
In 2016, Chekwa earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Miami Business School. [9]
