Chinki Yadav is an Indian sport shooter who competes in the 25 metre pistol event. She secured a quota place for India at the 2020 Summer Olympics by qualifying for the final of the 2019 Asian Shooting Championships.
Yadav was born on 26 November 1997 in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Her family lived in a single-room dormitory [2] in the premises of the Tatya Tope Nagar Sports Complex where her father Mehtab Singh Yadav worked as an electrician. Yadav would accompany her father to the shooting range at the complex and, in 2012, decided to make a career in the sport. [3] [4] While she took up pistol shooting and trained at the Madhya Pradesh Shooting Academy, [5] her younger brother Rajesh chose shotgun but "did not pursue it as seriously as Chinki". [3]
As of 2019, Yadav works as an assistant bank manager. [3]
Yadav won the bronze medal in the junior women's 25 metre pistol event at 2015 Asian Shooting Championships in Kuwait City with a score of 570. [6] At the 2016 ISSF Junior World Cup, Yadav won bronze in the 25 metre pistol team event in Gabala [7] and bronze in the same event at Suhl. [8] She won bronze at the 2017 ISSF Junior World Championships in Suhl in the team event, along with Muskan and Gauri Sheoran. [9]
Yadav finished second in the qualification round of 2019 Asian Shooting Championships with a score of 588 and qualified for the final. This performance secured her a quota place for the 2020 Summer Olympics as four of the eight finalists were from countries which had already earned maximum quota places for the event. She came sixth in the final with a score of 116. [10] [11]
Honorary Captain Vijay Kumar Sharma, AVSM, SM is an Indian sport shooter. He won the silver medal in the individual 25 metre rapid fire pistol event at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Kumar hails from Barsar village of Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh and is a retired Subedar Major in the Dogra Regiment Indian Army, who was later promoted to Honorary Captain Rank. Vijay Kumar is supported by the Olympic Gold Quest initiative. He is the only Indian to have won a medal at 25m rapid Fire Pistol. He has been posted at Indian Army Marksmanship Unit (AMU) Mhow since 2003 where he is being coached by the Russian Pavel Smirnov.
Malaika Goel is an Indian shooter. She won the silver medal in the Women's 10m Air Pistol competition at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland. She was the youngest medallist.
Ayonika Paul is an Indian shooter who competes in the 10 metre air rifle event. She won the silver medal in the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

Anish Bhanwala is an Indian pistol shooter. He is from Karnal Haryana and competes in the 25 meter rapid fire pistol, 25 meter pistol, and 25 meter standard pistol events. Anish joined the Indian Shooting Team in 2017. He represented India at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, 2018 Asian Games, ISSF Junior World Championship 2017 (Suhl), Commonwealth Shooting Championships 2017 (Brisbane), World Shooting Championships 2018 and numerous ISSF Senior and Junior World Cups and South Asian Games, Kathmandu.
Saurabh Chaudhary is an Indian sport shooter. He won the gold medal at the 2018 Asian Games in 10 m Air Pistol. He was the youngest Indian gold medalist at the Asian Games. He had earlier won gold medals and set a new junior world record in the ISSF Junior World Cup in Suhl, Germany. He is the only Indian shooter to win a gold medal in ISSF World Championship, ISSF World Cup, Youth Olympic Games, Asian Games and Asian Air Gun Championship. He broke his own world record with a score of 245.5 and claimed gold in Junior Men 10m Air Pistol at 2018 World Championship in Changwon, Korea.
