Chionodes sabinianus is a moth in the family Gelechiidae. [1] [ failed verification ] It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from southern British Columbia to California. [2] [3]

The wingspan is 12.2–14 mm for males and 14.3-15.6 mm for females. The forewings are dark grey, the scales whitish on their basal halves, blackish toward the apices. The hindwings are light grey, darker toward the apical margin. [4]

The larvae feed on Pinus sabiniana , Pinus coulteri , Pinus ponderosa , Pinus radiata and Abies concolor .
