Chori Mera Kaam (English: Stealing is my Job) is a 1975 Bollywood comedy film, produced by Chander Sadanah, directed by Brij Sadanah and written by K. A. Narayan. The film stars Ashok Kumar, Shashi Kapoor, Zeenat Aman, Pran, Deven Verma, Iftekhar and Raza Murad. The film's music is by Kalyanji-Anandji. Deven Verma won his first Filmfare Award for Best Comedian for the film. [1] The film was a box office success and one of the highest-grossing films of the year. [2]

Shashi Kapoor Indian film actor and producer (1938–2017)

Shashi Kapoor (pronounced [ʃʌʃi kʌpuːɾ]; was an Indian actor and film producer who is best known for his work in Hindi films. A recipient of several accolades, including four National Film Awards and two Filmfare Awards, he also featured in a number of English-language international films, particularly films produced by Merchant Ivory. The Government of India honoured him with the Padma Bhushan in 2011, and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, in 2014, for his contribution to Indian cinema.

As of 2016, Pran, Amrish Puri, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Anil Kapoor lead the list, with three wins each. Vivek Oberoi currently also holds the record of being the youngest recipient of the award, whereas Rishi Kapoor holds the record for being the eldest, while Abhishek Bachchan holds the record for winning the award thrice consecutively.

Zeenat Aman Indian actress and model (b. 1951)

Zeenat Khan, better known as Zeenat Aman, is an Indian actress and former fashion model. She first received recognition for her modelling work, and at the age of 19, went on to participate in beauty pageants, winning both the Femina Miss India pageant and the Miss Asia Pacific International pageant in 1970. She began acting in 1970, and her early works included the films The Evil Within (1970) and Hulchul (1971). Aman's breakthrough came with the film Hare Rama Hare Krishna (1971), for which she won the Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award and the BFJA Award for Best Actress. She next starred in the film Yaadon Ki Baaraat (1973), for which she received further recognition.

<i>Angoor</i> (1982 film) 1982 Indian Hindi-language comedy film

Angoor (transl. Grape) is a 1982 Indian Hindi-language comedy film. It stars Sanjeev Kumar and Deven Verma in double roles, and directed by Gulzar. It is a remake of the Indian film Do Dooni Char which was a remake of 1963 Bengali language comedy film Bhranti Bilas, that is based on Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar's Bengali novel by the same name, which itself is based on Shakespeare's play The Comedy of Errors and is again getting adapted by Rohit Shetty as Cirkus. All characters are innocent and destiny plays the main role in bringing all characters to one place. Most of the other films are generally based on false characters and deliberately make false statements to fool others.
