Christopher Warwick Godfrey Bassano (born 11 September 1975) is a South African-born cricketer and fly-fisher who lives in Tasmania. His father Brian was a South African sports journalist who wrote several books of cricket history. [1]
As a resident of Tasmania, and yet a British national,Bassano qualified to play county cricket as an overseas player. On his County Championship debut in 2001 for Derbyshire he hit 186 not out and 106 against Gloucestershire. [2] After finishing with a career-best average during the 2004 season, his form fell away in 2005 and he was released. [3] He played a few Minor Counties matches for Cheshire in 2007.
Bassano lives in Tasmania, where he conducts fly fishing tours. [4] He has represented Australia at fly fishing at Commonwealth and world championship level. He has also worked for Tasmania's Inland Fisheries Service on conservation and stocking programs. [5] He designs and markets fishing flies. [6]

Dominic Gerald Cork is a former English county and international cricketer. Cork was a right-handed lower-order batsman who bowled right-arm fast-medium,and was renowned for his swing and seam control. Michael James Di Venuto is an Australian cricket coach and former first-class cricketer who represented both Australia and Italy. The bulk of his first-class cricket career was spent playing for Tasmanian Tigers. After retiring from representative cricket in Australia,he continued playing for Durham County Cricket Club till July 2012,when he announced retirement from County Cricket. He has also previously played cricket in England for Derbyshire and Sussex. A left hand opening batsman, his form for Tasmania throughout the mid-1990s earned him a call up for the Australian national cricket team in the One Day International arena, although after nine games he was dropped. Like some of his contemporary Tasmanian teammates such as Jamie Cox,Dene Hills, and Shaun Young,Di Venuto can be considered unlucky to have not had a more successful international career,as he was playing at a time when the Australian national cricket team was highly dominant, and difficult to earn selection for. After retiring from Durham,he was appointed Australia's full-time batting coach by head coach Mickey Arthur, and was then head coach of Surrey from 2016 until 2020.
Marcus James North is a former Australian first-class cricketer who played 21 Test matches and two One Day Internationals (ODIs) for the Australian national side.
