Chris Brazzell II is an American football wide receiver for the Tennessee Volunteers. He previously played for the Tulane Green Wave.
Brazzell attended Midland Christian School in Midland, Texas where he played football. [1] [2] For his senior year, he transferred from Midland Christian to Midland Legacy. [3] During his senior year, Brazzell recorded 859 yards and 12 touchdowns on 59 catches and was given a three-star rating. [4] On June 9, 2021, He committed to FAU. [5] He decommitted from FAU on December 6th and committed to Tulane on December 13, 2021. [6] [7] He chose Tulane over offers from Southern, Pittsburgh, New Mexico State, and Austin Peay. [8]

Brazzell appeared in two games during the 2022 season and recorded his first career catch against Alcorn State on September 10, 2022. [9]
During his redshirt freshman season in 2023, Brazzell led the Green Wave in receptions and yards. [10] In recognition of his performance, he earned All-American Athletic Conference third-team honors and was selected as a Freshman All-America honorable mention. [3]
On December 4, 2023, Brazzell entered the transfer portal. [6] He was rated a four-star transfer and the 16th-best transfer wide receiver. [11] Almost 40 schools reached out to Brazzell about transferring. [12]
On December 21, 2023, Brazzell announced he would transfer to Tennessee. [13]

Brazzell is the son of former NFL receiver Chris Brazzell and Monique Brazzell. [14] His father played under coach Willie Fritz during college, who would later coach Brazzell for two years at Tulane. [4] Brazzell has a younger brother, Colin, who has committed to play defensive back at Tennessee. [15]
Thomas Joseph McCleskey Jr. is a former American football defensive back in the National Football League (NFL) who is the defensive backs coach for the Tulane Green Wave football team. He played for the New Orleans Saints and Arizona Cardinals. He played college football at Tennessee.
Lorenzo Doss is a former American football cornerback. He played college football at Tulane before being selected by the Denver Broncos in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL draft. Doss was on the Broncos Super Bowl 50 championship team.
