Chris Dade (born April 5, 1974) is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball for Cal State Fullerton and later professionally in Argentina, Iceland and Israel.
Dade grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Before his freshman year in high school, his family moved to the San Diego area where he attended Vista High School. He later transferred to San Diego El Camino High. [1] He was the schools most valuable player as a junior. As a senior, he averaged 16.5 points, shot 58% from the field and led his team to the San Diego Section Division II championship with a 25–5 record. He was chosen player of the year in the division. Dade played for Cal State Fullerton from 1994 to 1998. [3] He redshirted his first year due to an injury. [4]
In 1999, Dade signed with Úrvalsdeild karla club Haukar. [5] He was released by the club in December 1999 after appearing in 10 games where he averaged 20.6 points and 5.9 rebounds per game. [6]
The following season, Dade signed with Hamar. [7] [8] In January 2001, he was selected for the Icelandic Basketball Association All-Star Game [9] where he scored 11 points. [10] In February, he helped Hamar to the Icelandic Cup finals where it lost to ÍR. [11] For the season, he averaged 26.5 points per game, second best in the league behind KFÍ's Dwayne Fontana, [12] and 3.86 steals per game, also second best in the league. [13] In the Úrvalsdeild playoffs, Hamar lost to Keflavík in the first round 0–2.
In July 1993, Dade returned to Hamar. [14] In 20 games, he averaged 21.6 points and 3.8 rebounds per game.
Pétur Karl Guðmundsson is an Icelandic former professional basketball player and coach. Standing 2.18 m (7'2"), weighing 118 kg (260 lb) and playing the center position, Pétur was the first Icelander and one of the first European players ever to play in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Often described as the greatest Icelandic basketball player of all time, he was named the Icelandic Basketball Player of the 20th century by the Icelandic Basketball Association in 2001, and in 2015, he was inducted in to the National Olympic and Sports Association of Iceland Hall of Fame. Pétur was also a member of the Icelandic national basketball team from 1978 to 1992 but missed several years of competition due to FIBA rules banning professional players from playing for national teams.
Baldur Ingi Jónasson is an Icelandic former basketball coach and player. He formerly coached Úrvalsdeild clubs Stjarnan and KFÍ. As a player, he spent 9 seasons in the Icelandic top-tier Úrvalsdeild karla with KFÍ and Þór Akureyri, scoring 1,616 points in 192 games. Over his career, he has played over 30 season in the Icelandic basketball league system.
Ragnar Ágúst Nathanaelsson is an Icelandic basketball player who plays for Hamar. He participated at EuroBasket 2015 as a member of the Icelandic national team. He is a two time Úrvalsdeild Domestic All-First team selection and won the Icelandic Basketball Cup in 2022.
Valur Snjólfur Ingimundarson is an Icelandic former basketball player and coach. He played for 20 seasons in the Icelandic Úrvalsdeild and is its highest scoring player of all time. He won the Icelandic championship eight times during his career and the Icelandic Cup twice.
Ívar DeCarsta Unsont Webster is an American and Icelandic former professional basketball player and coach. Following a college career at Miami Dade and Indiana State, he went on to play for 20 seasons in Iceland where he won the national championship in 1988. In 1984, he became the first naturalized citizen to play for Iceland national basketball team.

Trent R. Smock is an American former basketball player and coach. He played basketball and football for Indiana University in the 70's and later starred in basketball in Iceland where he led the top-tier Úrvalsdeild karla in scoring in 1980.

In 1992 he set the single game scoring record in the Korisliiga when he scored 79 points.
