Christian Allen is an American video game designer. He is most noted for his contributions to the Ghost Recon franchise and Halo: Reach . Allen became Lead Designer on Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2 and continued in that role through Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter , becoming Creative Director on Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 . Since 2017, Allen has served as a technology evangelist for Epic Games.

Allen started his career as a modder in the late 1990s. He started making mods for Rainbow Six for fun and for his friends. [1]

Allen left Red Storm Entertainment in summer of 2007 and moved to Bungie, where he took the role of Lead Designer on Halo: Reach . Allen left Bungie during development of Halo: Reach, joining WB Games to work on Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor as Design Director. [2]

Allen announced in March 2012 that he had started a company called Serellan LLC in order to produce a hardcore tactical shooter, successfully raising over $220,000 on Kickstarter. [3] The shooter, named Takedown: Red Sabre, was released on September 20, 2013 on PC and February 21, 2014 on Xbox 360 Live Arcade.

In August 2015, Allen announced that Serellan LLC would be releasing a new title, named Epsilon. It was released on Steam Early Access on October 1, 2015. [4] In March 2016, Allen built and released Hotel Blind with Bella Ryse on Steam, which he describes as a "about a blind man in a hotel room." [5] In September 2016, Allen announced he had ported Hotel Blind to virtual reality platforms. [6]

In October 2017, Allen announced that he had joined Epic Games as a tech evangelist. [7]

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon is a series of military tactical shooter video games published by Ubisoft. Except for the "1st Battalion, 5th SFG" designation, this reconnaissance unit is entirely fictional, as Special Forces Battalions currently only support three Companies. They are often referred to as "the Ghosts". Their role is like other real world special operations forces, in that their operations are kept highly classified. In Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, it is shown that the Ghost's unit has multiple designations and is part of JSOC; they are also known as the Group for Specialized Tactics, much like real JSOC units such as Delta Force and SEAL Team Six. Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon has also been novelized by Grant Blackwood under the pseudonym David Michaels.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (GRAW) is a tactical shooter video game released for the Xbox 360, Xbox, PlayStation 2 and Microsoft Windows in 2006. As in previous Ghost Recon games, players command their team while neutralizing hostile forces and completing various mission objectives. These objectives can range from escorting friendly units across the map to rescuing hostages or taking out enemy artillery.

Platinum Hits is a term used to refer to a line of select Xbox games that were considered by Microsoft to have sold considerable units on the platform in the nine months after release, and have dropped in price from their original MSRP to a newer, lower price, generally that of $19.99, although multi-game packs may sell for more. High Voltage Software developed the game's PlayStation Portable version, while Grin developed the Windows version.

Tom Salta, also known as Atlas Plug, is an American recording artist and soundtrack composer. He has composed soundtracks for many videos games titles, including Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 1 & 2, Cold Fear, Red Steel and Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. Salta's score for Red Steel received an award for "Best Original Score" in IGN's Best of 2006 awards. Salta works in multimedia including film, television, advertising, and video games.

Halo 3: ODST is a 2009 first-person shooter game developed by Bungie and published by Microsoft Game Studios. The fourth installment in the Halo franchise as a side game, it was released on the Xbox 360 in September 2009. Players assume the roles of United Nations Space Command Marines, known as "Orbital Drop Shock Troopers" or ODSTs, during and after the events of Halo 2. In the game's campaign mode, players explore the ruined city of New Mombasa to discover what happened to their missing teammates in the midst of an alien invasion. A graduate of the Clarion West Writers Workshop as well as INSEAD and Brown University, he has lived and worked in the U.S., Japan, and now France.
