Christian Graugaard

Christian Lykke Graugaard (born 1967) is a Danish medical doctor, [1] author, poet, and professor of sexology at the Aalborg University. [2] He has published widely about sexology, both in popular and scientific contexts, and has published a number of collections of his own poetry as well as translations of works by Nordic poets. He has also been a regular contributor to the debate section in the newspaper Politiken . Furthermore, in his role as director of the organization Sex & Samfund (Sex & Society), he is a frequent commentator on issues related to human sexuality in the Danish public debate. [3] He is a critic of the practice of circumcision of boys, arguing that it should only be a legal procedure for boys above the age of 15, the Danish age of sexual consent. [4] [5]

Jakob Ejersbo was a Danish journalist and writer. His work is considered modern and neorealistic. Authoring the immensely popular novel, Nordkraft, which sold more than 100,000 copies, an unusually high sales figure on the book market in Denmark, Ejersbo became an established writer. A tale about three young people and drug problems in Aalborg, the work was turned into a film in 2005, directed by Ole Christian Madsen. Libertære Socialister

Libertære Socialister was a Danish political left-wing organization which was founded on November 8, 2009, at its third initial meeting in Horsens. The organisation was working on the political ground of an anti-capitalist, revolutionary and libertarian socialist platform. LS had local groups in Copenhagen, Aalborg and Odense and these groups were linked together in a federation, which was described in details the organization's rules.

Provinsmesterskabsturneringen

Provinsmesterskabsturneringen i Fodbold was a knockout association football competition contested annually between 1913 and 1931, organised by the Danish FA (DBU), which determined the championship of the provinces. Throughout the competition's existence, the five regional football championship clubs from Bornholm FA (BBU), Funen FA (FBU), Jutland FA (JBU), Lolland-Falster FA (LFBU) and Zealand FA (SBU) participated after the end of normal league season, except for the years 1916–1920 and 1931. Until 1927, the cup tournament was part of the Danish Championship play-off, Landspokalturneringen, and was held prior to the Danish National Championship semifinal or final. Beginning from the 1928-season, the regional championship became a separate tournament held alongside the Danish Championship, but still organised by the Danish FA, now under the official name of Provinsmesterskabsturneringen. The 1915 edition was not played due to the limitations imposed as a consequence of World War I. The tournament was abolished after the 1931 edition, where the Jutland FA representative, Esbjerg fB, withdrew from the competition due to lack of time in its schedule.

The Weekendavisen Book Award is an annual literary award presented by the Danish newspaper Weekendavisen. The nominees are selected om December by Weekendavisen's corps of literary critics and the final winner is selected by the readers. The ceremony takes place in January the following year.
