Christian Martyn is an actor best known for his role as Finn Baxter in Home Alone: The Holiday Heist (2012). [3]
Christian Martyn was born the son of single mother Lori (née Zabrok) Martyn. [4] He has an older brother and an older sister. [5] Martyn is originally from Oakville, Ontario and participated in a Hansel and Gretel play in Grade 2. In 2009, He participated in a competition in Los Angeles bagged four iPOP awards including best TV commercial and child actor of the year. [6] [7] He subsequently auditioned for Snowmen (2010) [8] before playing the introverted Finn Baxter in Home Alone: The Holiday Heist (2012). [9] While attending grade 11 at Iroquois Ridge High School, he played the role of a bully in Anne . [7]

Home Alone: The Holiday Heist is a 2012 American made-for-television Christmas comedy film directed by Peter Hewitt. It is the fifth installment in the Home Alone franchise. It stars Christian Martyn, Jodelle Ferland, Malcolm McDowell, Debi Mazar, and Eddie Steeples. The film premiered on ABC Family on November 25, 2012, during the network's annual Countdown to 25 Days of Christmas programming block. It is the second film, after Home Alone 3, not to focus on the McCallister family, although there are numerous homages to the previous films. Home Alone: The Holiday Heist received mainly negative reviews, although it fared better than the fourth film.

The Oakville Festivals of Film and Art is a not-for-profit organization that runs the Oakville Film Festival, as well as special screening and Arts events such as the Sheridan/OFFA Annual Screening series. The festival celebrated its 10th year in 2023, and has been held the third week of June every year for over 10 years. The festival includes a juried award competition with senior members of the Canadian film and production communities, and Audience Choice Awards for the best feature and best short film. Spirit Rangers is an animated preschool television series created by Karissa Valencia, a member of the Santa Ynez Band of the Chumash Nation. Co-produced by Netflix Animation, Laughing Wild and Superprod Studio, the series was released on Netflix on October 10, 2022, before Indigenous Peoples' Day. On January 18, 2023, it was announced that the series was renewed for a second season, which premiered on May 8. On June 15 the same year, it was announced the series was renewed for a third and final season which premiered on April 8, 2024.
