Christos Tsakmakis (born 6 September 1987 in Augsburg) [1] is a German-born, Greek slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2002.
He won a bronze medal in the C1 event at the 2007 European Championships in Liptovský Mikuláš. [2]
Competing in three Summer Olympics, he earned his best finish of seventh in the C1 event in Beijing in 2008.
Tony Estanguet is a French slalom canoeist and a three-time Olympic champion in C1. He competed at the international level from 1994 to 2012.
Jan Benzien is a German slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 1999. Benzien started out as a C1 paddler. Since 2012 he has also been competing in C2, teaming up with Franz Anton.
Nico Bettge is a German slalom canoeist who has competed in C1 since the 1997. Since 2014 he has also competed in C2 together with David Schröder.

Sideris Tasiadis is a German slalom canoeist of Greek descent who has competed at the international level since 2005. Son of Greek immigrants who lived in Thrace, Greece in the village of Komara for 10 years during his childhood, before moving back to Germany.
Franz Anton is a German slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2006. He specialized in the C1 class from the start of his career. Between 2012 and 2018 he was also competing in the C2 class together with Jan Benzien.

He also occasionally appears in kayak cross. With an Olympic gold and a bronze, 2 individual world titles and 5 individual European titles, he is one of the most successful K1 paddlers of his generation.
