Chronicles of Gnarnia is a compilation album by the British punk rock band Gnarwolves, released 24 February 2014. The album compiles songs from Gnarwolves first three EPs, Fun Club, CRU and Funemployed. [2]

A compilation album comprises tracks, which may be previously released or unreleased, usually from several separate recordings by either one or several performers. If by one artist, then generally the tracks were not originally intended for release together as a single work, but may be collected together as a greatest hits album or box set. If from several performers, there may be a theme, topic, time period, or genre which links the tracks, or they may have been intended for release as a single work—such as a tribute album. When the tracks are by the same recording artist, the album may be referred to as a retrospective album or an anthology.

Punk rock is a rock music genre that developed in the mid-1970s in the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia. Rooted in 1960s garage rock and other forms of what is now known as "proto-punk" music, punk rock bands rejected perceived excesses of mainstream 1970s rock. They typically produced short, fast-paced songs with hard-edged melodies and singing styles, stripped-down instrumentation, and often political, anti-establishment lyrics. Punk embraces a DIY ethic; many bands self-produce recordings and distribute them through independent record labels and other informal channels.

Gnarwolves are a British punk rock band, formed in 2011 and based in Brighton, England. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Thom Weeks, bass guitarist and backing vocalist Charlie Piper, and drummer Max Weeks.
