Church Meadow is a 3.8 hectare Local Nature Reserve on the southern outskirts of Stowmarket in Suffolk. It is owned and managed by Mid Suffolk District Council. [1] [2]

This was formerly the garden of Combs Hall, which was demolished in 1756. Surviving features include earth banks and a round pond, which has frogs, newts toads and many dragonflies. The meadow is grazed by sheep. [3]

There is access from Church Road.

Suffolk Wildlife Trust

Suffolk Wildlife Trust (SWT) describes itself as the county's "nature charity – the only organisation dedicated wholly to safeguarding Suffolk's wildlife and countryside." It is a registered charity, and its headquarters is at Brooke House in Ashbocking, near Ipswich. Roydon Fen is a 17.2 hectare Local Nature Reserve south of Roydon, on the western outskirts of Diss in Norfolk. It is owned by South Norfolk District Council and managed by the Suffolk Wildlife Trust.

Maulden Church Meadow

Maulden Church Meadow is a 4.1 hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Maulden in Bedfordshire. It was notified in 1987 under section 28 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, and the local planning authority is Central Bedfordshire Council. Most of it is also a Local Nature Reserve, owned and managed by Central Bedfordshire Council.

Tailby Meadow

Tailby Meadow is a 4.9 hectare Local Nature Reserve in Desborough in Northamptonshire. It is owned by Kettering Borough Council and managed by the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.

North Kilworth Nature Reserve is a 2.0 hectares Local Nature Reserve in North Kilworth Leicestershire. It is owned and managed by Harborough District Council, Millennium Green Trustee Management Group and Leicestershire County Council.
