Chydeniusfjella is a mountain group in the Ny-Friesland region of Spitsbergen in the Svalbard archipelago. It is named after Finnish physicist Jakob Karl Emil Chydenius.
The mountain group is located between Wijdefjorden and Hinlopen Strait, and is surrounded by the glaciers of Ermakbreen, Harlandisen, Veteranen, Glasgowbreen and Kvitbreen. The group includes Newtontoppen, the highest peak in Svarlbad at 1,713 metres. [1] [2]
The Svalbard Rocket Range or SvalRak as it is named, is a launch site for sounding rockets at Ny-Ålesund in Svalbard, Norway. The site has been in use since 1997 and is owned by Andøya Space Center, which is owned by the Norwegian Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries and the Kongsberg Group. SvalRak's location at the 79th parallel north makes it well-suited for launching rockets to investigate Earth's magnetic field. It is used mostly by American, Japanese and Norwegian researchers. It is the world's northernmost launch site.
Haakon VII Land is a land area at the northwestern part of Spitsbergen, Svalbard, between Woodfjorden and Kongsfjorden.
Albert I Land is the land area of the northwestern part of Spitsbergen, Svalbard. It is bordered by Haakon VII Land to the southeast. To the northeast lies Raudfjorden and its inner branch, Klinckowströmfjorden, to the southeast Krossfjorden and its inner branch, Lilliehöökfjorden, to the west and north the Arctic Ocean.

Klinckowströmfjorden is the eastern branch of Raudfjorden at Spitsbergen, Svalbard, on the divide between Albert I Land and Haakon VII Land. It is named after Swedish zoologist Axel Klinckowström. The glacier Raudfjordbreen debouches into the fjord. The peninsula Buchananhalvøya separates Klinckowströmfjorden from the western fjord branch Ayerfjorden. The mountain Ben Nevis is located southeast of the fjord.
Atomfjella is a mountain range in Ny-Friesland at Spitsbergen, Svalbard, Norway. It is located between Austfjorden to the west and Planetfjella to the east, Smutsdalen and Smutsbreen to the south, and Reinsbukkdalen and Reinsbukkbreen to the north. Many of the mountains in Atomfjella have names from nuclear physics. The mountain range includes Perriertoppen, Nøytronfjellet, Elektronfjellet, Radiumfjellet, Curiefjellet, Rutherfordfjellet, Grøssfjellet, Einsteinfjellet, Bohrryggen and others.

Lovénberget is among the largest bird cliffs of Svalbard, the steep cliffs with heights of more than 400 meters facing east towards Hinlopen Strait. It is named after Swedish zoologist Sven Ludvig Lovén.

Vasahalvøya is a peninsula in Albert I Land at Spitsbergen, Svalbard. The peninsula is named after Gustav Vasa. It is located between the fjords of Smeerenburgfjorden and Raudfjorden. The peninsula is filled with ruggy and pointed mountains and glacier filled valleys. The highest peak is Stortinden.
Woodfjorddalen is a valley in Andrée Land at Spitsbergen, Svalbard. It forms a southeastward continuation of the fjord Woodfjorden. The upper part of the valley is covered by the glacier Abrahamsenbreen. At the lower part of the valley is the flat sand and clay area Poninskiøyra and the hill Tantalushaugen. A side valley to the south is Piræusdalen, six kilometers from the head of Woodfjorden. North of the valley is the mountain group Vaktarfjella, with a length of about eleven kilometers.
Vaktarfjella is a mountain group in Andrée Land at Spitsbergen, Svalbard. It has an extension of about eleven kilometers, and is located north of the valley Woodfjorddalen. The highest summit in the group is Vaktaren, with a height of 1,227 m.a.s.l. The northwestern mountain in the group is Kapp Ringertz.
Hakebreen is a glacier in Haakon VII Land at Spitsbergen, Svalbard. It has a length of about five kilometers, and is a tributary glacier to the Fjortende Julibreen. The glacier is surrounded by the mountains of Målarryggen, Foreltinden, Forelryggen, Giardtinden, Fregatten and Haken.
Tinayrebukta is a bay in Haakon VII Land at Spitsbergen, Svalbard. It is located at the east side of Möllerfjorden, and is surrounded by the mountains of Fallièresfjella and Generalfjella. The glacier of Tinayrebreen debouches into the bay. The bay is named after French painter Jean Paul Louis Tinayre.
Fallièresfjella is a mountain group in Haakon VII Land at Spitsbergen, Svalbard. It is located north of the bay of Tinayrebukta and the glacier of Tinayrebreen. The highest peak reaches a height of 1,039 m.a.s.l., and the mountain group has an extension of about six kilometers. The mountain group is named after French politician Armand Fallières.
Generalfjella is a mountain group in Haakon VII Land at Spitsbergen, Svalbard. It is located east of Krossfjorden, between the bay of Tinayrebukta and the glacier of D'Arodesbreen. The mountain group is named after Norwegian army general Ole Hansen.
Ole Hansenkammen is a mountain ridge in Haakon VII Land at Spitsbergen, Svalbard. The ridge extends over a length of about 5.5 kilometers, and has peaks of heights 819 and 686 m.a.s.l. It belongs to the mountain group of Generalfjella, along with Tverrkammen and Austflanken. The mountain is named after Norwegian army general Ole Hansen.
Chydeniusbreen is a glacier in Ny-Friesland at Spitsbergen, Svalbard. It is named after Finnish physicist Jakob Karl Emil Chydenius. The glacier has a length of about twentyfive kilometers, and flows from the mountain group of Chydeniusfjella towards the bay of Vaigattbogen.
